And why would they send it to only 8 home-buyers that have been carefully tracking it? Why not send it to all of the home-buyers that have been tracking it? They are trying to get you excited about an offer and the buyer thinking they have to move NOW because there is an offer deadline attached to it. They are trying to appear to provide value you, the listing agent. They are marketing agents and buyers all in one. We don't have Redfin here yet, thought I'm sort of surprised by that because they are in the Pacific Northwest. -Kasey

UGH! No, have not seen that email.
I have been trying to present an offer with one of these agents for 47 days now. First time around finally got a response and it was "sorry, I have been so busy but wanted to let you know it's in Escrow." Okay...now house comes back on MLS 31 days later. My buyer wanted to resubmit the offer again...UGH! I did...no response at all. Can't call except through a series of voice mail prompts that go to the agents voice mail...which is always full. There is no broker to call so that's not an option. Finally...today I got an email response. "My client will not look at offers below the last offer which is $15K over list price."
Events:
The previous offer failed due to buyer's loan according to the Redfin listing agent.
The house is already priced so far over the comps even at list price and the condition and location does not add any value to any of the similar comps.
The house is now on MLS for over 45 days in a "Hot Market"
The Seller won't look at offers $15K below the last offer and they are listed $15K lower?
Sometimes...I want to scream! Who's your listing agent?

Yes, I have received a similar notice. The public has ample access to it and I generally publish for syndication to Zillow/Trulia/Homes via my off-MLS site with all branded pictures. Not interested in Redfin as an alliance for my listings. They are just trolling for off-MLS listings.
