No, I would not call, just send along the information that I have on the Fixer-Upper Nathan Gesner.  That way my client can decide by pictures or other hard facts (square footage, location, asking price, etc.) if they are even interested in seeing the house.  I could never know for sure if I was hearing the 'real' or 'true' story until the house was viewed, and my client could then make the decision if they wanted or could do the work involved.

I go and see what needs fixing and estimate how much it will take to fix, then negotiate from there.

Depending upon the buyers specific situation, I might call the listing agent to get some further info, preview the property and may even take additional photos (with consent) to send to the buyer - especially if the buyer was traveling a distance to see the property.

I would do both but first I would call to see what their definition of fixer upper dated, new roof, cracked foundation, etc? Then I would send to my client indicating what the issues are.

I believe most agents probably already have an MLS portal set up for their clients. The clients probably already know about the property and are calling you for more details or to schedule a showing.

Depends on the buyer and loan type. Investor knows what to look for and may want to assess it. Owner occupant may want a slight fixet but not ready to do major repairs and house may not qualify for the loan type. I would call in that scenerio.-Kasey

For God sake's it a fixer-upper. I will and will instruct, "You need to take a look and if a fixer-upper is beyond ones skill set, hire an inspector that will give assurance regarding how far their report can be relied upon.'

I would send it to my buyers, and if they are interested, get a house inspector to come out and have a look.. At least the Buyer can then make an informed decision.

You make an offer subject to insection. When accepted they will let you view inside.
