I don't belong to all that many groups and post to a few of them, but that's it. And I rarely go to a group to read posts. At the end of the day, I post mostly for the "public" and not AR members, which is what the groups support.

What would be the purpose of your group, Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers? Would it be a place to share aerial photos or discuss their use? 

I use them and I say, go for it - and it sounds like a great group to follow too, Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers!

Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers The idea behind groups is a good one. Being able to share ideas among members who have something in common is a good one. For me there are not enough hours in the day to participate in like minded groups.

There are still a number of interesting Groups that have not bowed their knee to mediocrity  !!!

Yep, I just don't see the need. I did join Kathleen Daniels Market Report Group though.

I haven't checked out the groups that I follow in years. I think that AR has evolved and groups aren't a priority for many. I think Q & A has become the new group of diverse topics.

I just checked and I belong to about 100 groups yet I post to about a handful of them on a regular basis and rarely go to look there for a post to read. Should you decide to create a new group, good luck.   

If we could actually Search for a specific group they they would be much more useful and it would probably pare the list down to about 1/8th of this number once the duplicate were found.

Unfortunately finding a specific group is about as easy as finding a specific fish in the lake.  and Most people just dont have time for that.

Tony if you create a group you have to work it on a daily basis or it will wither or fall by the wayside like most groups have done.

I joined a few groups but don't totally understand the purpose.  I posted one or two blogs and posted into the groups and then was told that was not the appropriate thing to do.  So, confused, I have decided not to use groups.

I have weeded out a number of groups I have been a member of since I never use them. I seem to post to only a few but never go to the groups to search for reading - not sure if many Rainers do. I think, however, there ARE some key groups that interest people and are used.

I used to belong to many but rarely post to them these days and never intentionally visit them.  I think they served their purpose back in the day.

I agree with Bob "RealMan" Timm  Give it a shot.  Your topic is specific enough.  Some groups are non specific and aren't moderated.  It's worth giving it a try.

It is your good fortune that your group name may begin with an "A."

There needs to be a purge since some groups get lost in the white noise.

I don't t use the groups but would love reading more about videos. 

I keep forgetting that I'm in groups! 

I post to a handful of groups on a regular basis and manage one (Facebook Fridays). The content I share in the groups is geared towards the membership not consumers.

I started 4 however, only a limited few had joined so I don't use them anymore. 

Aerial photography is a HUGE part of my real estate business... Just made this video yesterday sharing how I list luxury homes with the use of drone photography... Aerial Photograhy and the "First Photo"

There are only so many hours in the day that I can spend on AR.  Groups is just too much.

I like the idea of it, but don't know if anyone uses the groups feature anymore.  If you do make the group, please invite me to join.

The groups are not organized or cataloged; there are many redundancies. Their usefulness has been a topic for some time now.

I had no idea we have so many groups. I wonder how many of them are active. Probably not that many? 

It sounds like far too many groups.

I still post to groups most of the time.  However I am not active in any group. 

I have only 40 groups if that I look at.

I do not use groups.

I use groups every day, I always post to the same 7 or so and when time allows, i like checking the groups for blogs i may have missed

I don't belong to any of the groups and rarely read them or post any on them.

I use them, 99% of my posts, but I only hear back from 2-3 ever of the 20 I joined. Bananatude is alive & kicking and so is one of my CA Groups and Old Farts must be getting older because they chime in rarely but still do.

I have not used the groups feature in years due to the programming design limitations which limited their usefulness.

Maybe it's time to get rid of the groups. I even forgot that in the beginning I would go to there to read and comment.
