I use a middle of the road video camera that I purchased as the company came out with their next bell and whistle... mine has full stabilization and an extra wide (not fish-eye) zoom. It works wonderfully and didn't cost an arm and a leg. My advice is to buy anything technological 1 or 2 generations back from the latest and greatest, my experience has been that the money you spend to by the newest marvel is seldom worth the marvelous price.
