Uh no... people don't eat in my car. And I've never had a client ask to do so. If we need to stop for food we sit down like civilized people and eat at a table.

Taco Bell = no. Whataburger = hell yes.

Yes, I'm okay with eating in the car and if they want Taco Bell, I'm happy to buy them lunch there and eat it on the way to our next showing!  :)

I worked with buyers in the million dollar price range who were only in town for the weekend to buy. They didn't want to stop somewhere to eat and suggested Arby's. So, that's what they did and they put an offer in on a house that same day. We closed shortly after their visit!   :)

No. I agree with Nina Hollander - if we are hungry we stop and have a decent meal and eat like civilized adults.

I drive a Hybrid...I try to maximize my gas usage.   I say no to Taco Bell in or out of the car.

No, unless it is some dire emergency, I really don't want them eating in my car.  I schedule breaks, though, so hopefully they won't faint from hunger until we stop.

Yes, I think I would let them... I may suggest that we stop and eat inside and take a break, and perhaps talk about a few homes we saw...but if not then I would let them..

I do know that the smell of McD's fries can remain in a car for DAYS.

However, if the customer arrived with a duplicate for me, I understand they are not being a complete a$$.

It is most likely I will exercise hospitality at a open air place where they can munch and I can talk about what they need to know.

Never been asked - but yes, I would.  Generally, I drive in tandem with clients - just feel safer allowing them to drive themselves....I'm a great realtor, not as great a driver ;-).

Only certain fast food allowed? Food is food and on a long swing around showing farms, sure, hit a drive through and munch a bunch like the kids do. Just clean up and no rotten food smells and if they spill something, keep it clean for the next real estate taxi fare. No one goes hungry... same with bathroom breaks.. make sure they get those too! No coffin nail cancer sticks or left handed cigarettes though. Pink lungs all around.

This doesn't happen in my line of work and I wouldn't eat taco bell in their house either ;-)

I haven't mastered the fine art of driving and dining, and I don't expect my passengers to eat any better while being in a car. My answer is NO.

Yes I have no problem with eating and drinking in my car. It will clean.

Taco Bell would not register with most of my customers or any fast food for that matter.
