I don't ever pay attention to what I think of as "psycho-babble." People are people and I treat each person as an individual and don't worry about labelling them. People get so busy "figuring out" descriptions they are missing all the clues their clients are actually giving them. I feel the same way about labelling my clients generationally. Always dangerous to generalize.

I am with Nina Hollander on this one. I am sure I practice all of these, but mainly just listen the client needs and focus on that. I try to be myself, no matter who I am working with. I think if you are honest, sincere and treat everyone fairly then that is what works for me.

I have a little bit of all the so-called traits so I try to mirror the client's personality (chameleon) unless they want me to be the opposite of them. I go with the flow.
According to Myer Briggs my ideal career is a judge (my mom would have liked that :-) because I can see both sides on an issue.
BTW: I'm a Libra. I like balance and harmony.

I agree with Nina Hollander ..never wise to pigeon hole clients into a general category. Spend the time listening and developing the relationship.

Helpful, adopt that little red hen dig in attitude and help out to move along the process. How you react to clients and customers can hurt the sale if you expect them to be carbon copy you. Empathetic works best setting the expectations for buyers and sellers and in charting the course of choppy real estate waters heading to a closing.

In DISC I'm a Natural D and an Adaptive I.
In Heritage Profile I'm an Explorer Performer, Free Spirit, Benefactor Treasure Hunter.
You must be getting those 4 from a specific study and I'm not familiar with how they define those 4. So I can't answer your question specifically, although this answer may reveal THE answer
You see there actually are many more than 4; you'll discover when get your Heritage Profile from Buffini & Company.
There are dozens of personality attributes in reality.

Lee and Sarah,
I am in complete agreement with Nina Hollander . We heard some very sad news yesterday, and I cried. That was my natural reaction. I don't go outside myself and try to figure out which personality should I use! A

Understanding one personality traits is useful in knowing the environment they work best in AND knowing the best complimentary traits within the work group. A team of all analytical or all drives will have a predictable personality.
I am organically highly expressive but suppress this to present analytical by education.

Lee and Sarah I used to teach this class (with different classifications but kind of the same idea expanded out from the 4) when I was involved with Life Success Training for business folks . It was always a blast and it will be forever embedded in this brain!! We trained the leaders to learn how to come from the center position and move to where it would be most helpful and successful for any given situation - dependent on the personalities involved.

It may be helpful to try to categorize people in order to understand them, however, I simply ask, listen, and attempt to educate.
