Who said they are slow? Like farming, there are always chores. There is always a market.

It's slowed some in the last 2 weeks but that's the opportunity to really work on the business in preparation for a great 2017!

Not slow here, this is the start of our season.

Nope, these months aren't slow!  December was good, November was great, and January is lined up to be nice, too : )

I always take money from my commissions and throw it in my savings.  It's the only way to go.

Absolutely,  I had several closings before the end of the year and also in January 2017

Don't know what to say, I expect it to happen & sometimes it doesn't. I have to agree about this year though but I think it's been since Thanksgiving.

My market did not slow down in November or December.

It is always busy even if there are less closings. 

I don't have slow periods and October to now is busy as it's was all year.  Business planning, systems and consistency is key. 

We are generally busy with somethng, even in the slow times.

Save at 50% of your net, after-tax income for slower months and then enjoy them when and if you do have them!

No slow months as home buyers want to take advantage of the very low mortgage interest rates.

Tony, More emphasis on new construction in our niche has meant 4 contracts going into 2017 and an increase in our overall business.  Using the slow time to catch up on CE that is due next year and adding my Kentucky license so I can go after some of our niche market on the other side of the Ohio River.

There is never a slow month. When it is cold outside or rain in our case, I work on my marketing. There is always work that needs to be revamped.

Been in the business a long time, and know we have to have some in the kitty for the slower months.

Many agent go into hibernation mode, we do not.

And yes, I am super busy now.

Not slow for me.  I had a home sell in 4 days at the open house and I have people calling me about my under rennovation homes that are months away from being ready.  Low inventory = HOT HOT HOT market.

The slow did not happen.

Now I need to find a way to actually do what was on the drawing board. It is 'on the business' stuff that will prove crucial to sustaining business.

January is promising to be a record setting revenue month. Maybe February will provide a seasonal slow before it gets REALLY busy.

There is always something to do. Preparation in slow times makes for busier good times!

Slow months in the market make for great months to work ON our business.  Too much white space on my board makes me twitch so.... there's always something to do to change that.  ;)

What is a slow month? In a normal year yes, we would slow from Thanksgiving to the beginning or February however there has not been a normal market here in a few years. I had my busiest December ever, with 3 new listings Christmas week alone. All 3 will hit the market the week of Jan. 2 In the end i used to look forward to a couple of weeks off, but not this year

Agents may slow down; however, the market does not.  People buy and sell everyday.

In my market, we are rolling right along. 

I am keeping busy and if really slow like today will be shoveling some white stuff.

 I do by working harder and I haven't had that slow I love fall ..

It's beeen a few years since I could say we're back into our normal cycle. Business has come at various times which are generally unexpected yet always welcomed.
