I send a personalized card - and try to hand address them - this year is a picture of the family at my daughter's graduation from college with the grandson there too and my son and daughter in law.

Yes, I do believe it's important. For some I send a holiday themed calendar, others get a calendar and a card, others get calendar, card and a call. I don't text or email blast my clients for the holidays.

I send holiday cards to all clients, past clients, and my sphere. I keep it generic and include a personal note. This year I ordered cards I made on Shutterfly rther than purchasing cards. I do some emails and calling, too

I wish that I had time to do this right, but often times it is just a Social media note.
I do all of them depending on the client!
I try to wish most of my database Happy Holidays and do it different ways depending on the client.
I do think it's important, and I mix it up with mailed cards, emails, and phone calls. I've got clientele around the country so unless Santa lets me hop on the sleigh, it'd be tough to do too many drop bys
E-blast to my database and personal notes to special clients, plus gifts to a few.
Unless it's someone I'm currently working with, I don't. They get bombarded by holiday greetings from everyone else, so I will touch base at a more memorable time.
I mail a pretty card, that I personalize and sign.
I have a hard enough time remembering to wish my family and close friends a happy holidays, let alone my past clients! But I think I'll put it in the newsletter, that should do it!

I've done all of the above Debbie. This year I plan to skip the card and send a personal letter in mid January.
I don't observe the holiday, and in respect to others who do not, I simply send an end of year thank you card. I reflect on the past business, what I look forward to in the coming year and thank them for being a part of it....wishing them the best. Oh, and this is ONLY by USPS. I do not use email for personal greetings.

I'm doing "Happy Holidays" because so many of my clients have religious and spiritual traditions that celebrate other holidays. Almost all celebrate something involving food and gift giving around the end of December. And while I doubt they'd be offended by "Merry Christmas", they might appreciate a "Holiday" wish!
And mine will be in the form of a party invitation that I will both snail and email.
I sent cards for many years but stopped that practice for other than personal friends.
I hand deliver homemade cookies to anyone who sold/bought/rented with me during the year, but I don't send everyone a holiday message.

Gave up on Christmas cards years ago. Use to use Happy Thanksgiving cards as an alternative!

we do a full page newspaper ad for the new year.... it's mailed to every business and residence in the town....

It seems like people are moving away from all that. If I happen to talk to them I do but the days of mailing cards is way past.
I have a client appreciation party and those who don't attend, get a pop by with the hostess gift we give out at the party. They all also get a hand-written holiday card in the mail and we also send out an email Happy Holiday wish as many of our sellers have moved from the area and we still keep in touch with them that way.
