Are they saying you haven't kept up with changing technology? I often refer to "dinosaur" model real estate brokerages which haven't embraced the way buyers and sellers operate today. But if someone says "you are a fossil," I might reply that I am grounded in reality and the truth is the truth.  There are times when things are definately black and white and not a shade of grey.

Sounds like this speaker was trying to get a "rise" out of his audience and struck a nerve. The younger generation always thinks they can do it better, faster, etc. How many emails do I get every day trying to talk me into working with them? My suggestion? Listen, and take away from it what might be helpful to you. PS. A good comeback? "Those who can't do, teach."
