But I see a great tool for parents who eye that mountain of candy with the pang of evil intent to which sugar treats are.

So, the parent instructs, 'Leave out a pile of candy so the broom witch will come by and exchange the sugar for a gift. Only brooms can ride her through the wall."

Candy disappears and book titled 'Heroes of the American Revolution' left in its place. That mistake will make next year more difficult to pry sugar from the little tykes grasp.
