Have not had this issue, Will. Mine is photos disappearing after they've shown up. I'm on Chrome as well. Every so often I move back to IE and post there and for some reason it works.

Seems to work better by uploading it instead of trying to copy/paste it.

I am posting something now and will let you know. Sometimes the photos just disappear afterwards. I normally use Chrome but sometime FF works better. Go figure

Be sure you're posting the picture as the administrator, then try using a different browser, changing file format,  or resizing the image. 

My only suggestion is to do what I did, uninstall Chrome and stick with Firefox.

As long as the label is short and the photo isn't too large, mine area loading fine.

Are you actually trying to paste them in? I haven't done it that way. I upload and use the image uploader. I have had some issues, but that's mainly with them staying in the post after it's published.

Don't think pasting works; I always upload in to image manager, then link from there.

Are there any special characters in the name?  Size too big, Or the source host is not compatible with ActiveRain?

I have not had any issues. I use Chrome as well. 

However, I do not paste photos ... I upload them.  Once they are uploaded and on the server ... there "should" be no issues. 

I wasn't aware that you could paste a graphic - I thought you had to upload it, using the AR uploader prompts.  If that doesn't work, try another browser.

I don't paste.  Try uploading.  Just follow the AR prompts.

You can't paste a picture, it has to upload in AR 1st before you can load it.
