I usually make a comment to leave comments at the original blog.

You should appreciate the comments and the points that you receive from reblogs.

You can also disable comments, or at least encourage readers to stop by the original post for comments for the writer, who will appreciate their interest

Sure you can also click no comments and then type something like please direct comments to the original blogger.

The link is already built in, just click on the title and you go to the original.

Some people turn off commenting on the reblog and insert a comment with or without a link at the top of the reblog requesting readers to comment on the original post.

Peter Mohylsky - since you re-blog, you want to have comments answered by you - and not the original blogger - just my take on that.

About going to original post, just clicking on the title should take the reader to the original post.

As others have said, the link is built in with "original content".   Like Roy Kelley said, it's nice to encourage people to go to the original post and comment also.

You can set it up so no comments can be left on the re blog. 

It's easy enough to click the reblogged link to leave a comment on the original.

The link is in the re-blog, Peter (right under what you enter as text, sharing the original blog).  Also, I would not disable comments - most people will thank you for sharing and also acknowledge your comment/introduction. Most will then go to the original author and comment there.

In my experience, the original post is reblogged and you just have to click on the post to get to it.

Roy Kelley is a Master Re-Blogger.  When I do reblog ... I recommend and ask that people leave a comment on the original post.
