For home inspectors, we provide at least 3 names - better yet, the link to the website of the local certified inspectors. In this way, it is our buyer who chooses their inspector after interviewing several. It is not "our" inspector who missed something significant in the inspection. Same thing is true with other vendors, but usually this is preferenced with "I have had successful past experiences with this locksmith, handyman, etc." With a referral for our client to another agent, we interview them and make sure we believe the referred to agent will work well with our client.
