Back in the day, with the hundreds or Real Estate websites we created, we used Diverse Solutions due to shortcodes for blogging and the indexability of the listings. Right about the time they were acquired by Zillow, IDX Broker stepped up to the plate by offering polygonic mapping, SEO friendly listing pages, short codes for blogging and many other services. Plus they were the first IDX provider opening up Canada.

I am a member of the DS Mastermind group on FaceBook and the natives have been restless. Service has been bad. Some features stopped working. I figured DS would either be closed down or dumped. The main issue was after Zillow bought them, there was no investment into improvements.

About a year and a half ago we made the decision to exclusively use IDX Broker as our IDX of choice. We have also been converting prior DS clients with an awesome 301 system we developed as not to cause harm to existing SEO.

Third-party IDX's exist because most MLS's have not invested into creating a consumer friendly IDX that is not I-Framed among other issues.

I've never used them and no one in my office uses them....

Thankfully, I dumped them a long time ago.  It would be a royal pain to change to a new provider ... that is for sure.

I was the first in Oklahoma with DS when I used a WordPress site but didn't want a third party IDX anymore so went with a company that integrates their own into the website. Glad MarketLeader bought it.

I am not with DS but if I was and since coming from Zillow Group I would wait and see if better things were to come. It is possible that this could be an excellent move for them.

I don't use them but know a number of people who do. I;ll have to ask if this makes a difference. There are all sorts of sales and acquisitions going on in the RE busines these days

I only use a RETS feed that I play $40 a month for.  However still if my MLS changes vendors that too could create a problem.

That is precisely why we have created our own proprietary IDX for our clients only.  It beats all of the others out everytime at the listing table...A

Mergers an aquisitions seem to be the norm in this industry, sometimes it is an improvement, sometimes it is a buy and destroy mission like when ATT bought our phone company.

I hope this one will be a positive thing.

I don't use them. I don't pay for leads with these companies..I have more than enough leads to handle through my marketing.

I will not join them...I don't deal with any entity that sells leads
