Why not just start a group then invite those here who are int eh commercial arena - Michael Setunsky and Ken Jones immediately come to mind

Unfortunately the group concept of ActiveRain is dead or dying. 80% of the groups are not monitored or active at this point. 

Contact Bob and see his viewpoint and permission to revamp the system.

As with any group, someone really committed to the concept has to start it and promote it and work it.

I am game to work with you on this effort.  Lets chat tomorrow. Monday. 

I don't think  groups are the way to go anymore - the problem IMO is it excludes too many because they tend to become "clicish"

Can you somehow search for them in the activerain search bar above? I just did and many names came up.  Make yourself a list and then contact them individually!

I think there are fewer here in the rain than you think.... I can think of a few very active members......  you folks speak a different language than I.... and those in residential sales would be wise to not 'dabble" in that phase of real estate....there are no shallow parts of that body of water....it's very deep and needs a well-versed player.... 

I bet many potential AR recruits are on linkedIn  !

Ken Jones may be able to help you with this.

Hopefully you can find some like minded people to start contributing.

JM -- as many have answered, I think the importance of many ActiveRain groups has diminished.   What are you trying to accomplish with your group --- membership?  Participation?  Business?

I don't do a lot, but send me an invite and I will jump in.

In my area they are a different group. Most do not return agents calls. I was told they only work within the inner circle.  Offers submitted are not even processed until lawyers were involved. Good luck.

There are some great suggestions here. You could start your own group and invite the other commercial agent members. 

It does seem like most of us are residential.  It would be fun to see more posts about the commercial side - and to understand more about what you do.

Sounds like an interesting focus.  I won't be able to contribute, but wouldn't mind reading to learn more about it.

JM, maybe you can start a Commercial Group.  I think if we start a multiplexes group, there will be a lot of people who work in this area.
