I have used as many as 10 and as few as 2 if it is on a main thoroughfare. It depends are the directions I use.

Open houses don't work in my area no matter how many signs you put up.

Some of the neighborhoods in our area have little streets, so you need lots of signs to get them there from different directions.  The answer is as many as needed to get them there. A

If it is outside the city, as many as I can.  If its inside the city, just 2 in the yard, due to regulations.

As many as it takes!  It really varries by each house.  Some houses I can do with three or four, others I've used 12.  Just depends how many turns you need  to make and how many ways there are to bring traffic in.

When I did hold open houses in the past we were limited to one sign plus the "Sale" sign due to too many abuses. Yes, there were fines involved also and not just threats of them. Bye, bye $500!

It depends on the property.   I have 18 directional signs currently and I often use each and every one.

When I did I put 5-6 out - we have to be careful in my area as the sign police will come around and take them - although they will leave the clutter left by politcal signs for years after the election

It depends on the community.Typically 4. Our town is cracking down on the number of signs and where they can be placed. Some gated communities don't allow them at all

Usually its 15 to 20 and we will be lucky to get 8 back that the county did not pick up. Thats why we cant do anything before 1pm.

1 to 4 depending on location. 4 is max we are allowed. Many people have mobile devices with interactive maps, and also GPS, so they don't really need any signs in order to find Open Houses.
