SnagIt is among my "Top 5" favorite software programs.
I save the screen shots/images in TIFF, then edit them with Irfanview and re-save as PNG or JPG.

Everywhere I post my charts, etc. I love it. I have an older version but it works great. They have tutorials that help you learn more too BTW.
Don't forget to say where the graph came from so it's not copyright infringement.

Nope, never used it. What's wrong with the PrintScreen key on my computer?

It is good for PCs but you can do different screenshots either full screen or drawn with Apple computers without an app.

Used to use it all the time back when my main computer had Windows 7, now I just use the Windows Snipping tool.
And use it daily for all of the things you mentioned.

I use the snippit tool on my laptop ... believe it does the same thing as Snagit.
I use it for webinars ... or when I order something online to capture the details.

Melissa,
Sounds like a good too, but what about copyright infringement? Or is there an attribution also? A

I used to use it all the time at my last company. I use the free "Snip-it" tool in Windows 8 now. Works just as well. I use it for blogs mainly, though I just used it for a question. Anytime I need a section of a screen copied.

Sorry, I don't. Tried it quite some time ago, but it was more trouble than it was worth.

Melissa Marro - I use old version of FSCapture. And have Snap 6 from Ashampoo. Should use them more effectively, though...

I stay with main stream professional sites and it has served me very well.

I use Jing instead, although not often. And I use it in my blog posts, mostly, but sometimes for marketing (e.g., postcards). Almost always it is a screen capture of my own work/photos.

I was introduced to it a couple of years ago and then completely forgot about it. I will reinvestigate it and see if it is a good fit for my business.
