I've suggested; no one "bit." I've come to the conclusion that there's no need for me to convince anyone of any benefits... I mind my own business and they can mind theirs.

I have and they did not join.

I have not been overly aggressive about it.  The few people I invited signed up, but they did not continue with the site.

Hi Wayne & Jean Marie - I have recruited 14 people to join, of whom only one became and remains active. Many were new or newer agents, and their lack of interest here was somewhat indicative of their future in the industry.

I did ask one realtor Wayne and Jean Marie Zuhl, without knowing that she had been a past AR member, and she mentioned that she 'might want to get back in', though I'm not counting on it.  A current AR Member invited me - thank you Cara Marcelle Mancuso!!  I've been part of the Family, and never looked back, for six months now!    I think if people are looking for other realtors to share and learn from in real estate, and to develop relationships, and to attract clients, those benefits speak for themselves.

I have invited many and like you, just a few have joined.  That being said, it did take me a while to become more active.

You're doing better than me. No one has ever joined since 2007 when I started doing this. You can't tell them of the benefits - either you see it or you don't.

Some of my invitees accept and are not active, some accept and are active and some don't accept. 

Yes, same as you - and none of them are active. I stopped wasting my time pushing folks to find out how wonderful this place is!

People either understand the value of blogging or they don't. 

Yes, I have invited people. Some accept and do nothing and other don't accept. No real way to convince. 

Same here, I invited much more people than became members.. or maybe they accepted someone else invitation...:)

We do invite....most people think it's tooooo much work !

I have invited many, a few staff joined, a few partners joined, my auctioneer joined but never did anything, my RE agent refused to join and said it was a silly waste of time.

I've had some join and become active bloggers.  It's fun to watchthem grow.

Yes, I've invited many and had many accept.  I've had 2 very successful members that made it well past free membership (Grant Schneider and Joanna Cohlan) and I'm so glad that they have been so successful here.  I have another person is a bit in and out and has a bit over 200,000 points.  And, I've had plenty that joined, but didn't stick with it long and plenty that did nothing but set up their profile, if that.

Only one person I've invited ever signed up then did nothing despite all my encouragement. I guess it's not for everyone.

I've sent out quite a few invites. Only a few have joined and none of them are active. I also sent out an invite last week. That person never received it. Yes...he checked his spam. Maybe Bob Stewart knows if there might have been a glitch somewhere. I will be resending the invite.
