Barbara Berberi and her daughter teamed up for awhile. Now her daughter took another job. I am sure there are others in AR that do that.
I think it is fine. We have several teams like that in my market area and it works great.

No partnerships of this sort at my end. For the most part, my experience is that one has to be very careful about working with relatives in any business.

Congratulations to you and especially to your daughter! I am half of a husband-wife team but no kids in the business.

I wouldn't want to be in a partnership with any family members.

I'd suggest "invite" her and let her have her own account. I do know a few multi generation folks here.

Congratulations to your daughter! That's pretty exciting.
Two of my daughters are licensed realtors. One has been my assistant for 15 years. The other was my partner for several years, and while we are very close and I love her very much, I wouldn't do it again for many reasons.
She is now a property manager and LOVES it. How is that possible? LOL
Best of luck.

I don't know of any. That's a good question.
Congratulations to your daughter.

Good question, I don't know about here in the Rain, but I know of a few Parent/Child partnerships in my market.

My father is my Broker, my mother is licensed and involved (she writes the ad copy and does a lot of the MLS work and monitoring). I handle the day to day and marketing stuff.
I grew up in the business. I find it works pretty well, but I get along with my parents. Plus they are very generous on the split.
P.S. Congrats to your daughter!

I have no children but I have certainly seen real life examples and I know Dorie Dillard's daughter Melissa has joined with her. Dorie's son John Dunham is also in business but not in the same company.

My daughter started working as an assistant for Mike and I when she was still in college. After 3 degrees, high up on the corporate ladder, she hated her job.
We are now in a team partnership (12 years now) and it is absolutely great! She grew up as the oldest child that never gave us grey hair, so we have an excellent relationship.
Today, I cannot imagine running the office without her. I rely on her opinion/input and I think when I leave the business, she might actually miss me.

I started working under my mother 30 ago. We made a great partners as each had our strengths. As years past she was the social aspect and i was the legs. I can only hope my daughter decides to come work with me.

my daughter previously worked on my team...now she has the team and I do her marketing.... it was a great way to phase out of real estate completely....being a team leader was alot of work....now I work for her and I don't work cheaply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she pays for my services, for sure....and it's worth every penny to her and her team co-leader....
I wouldn't go partners with a newly licensed agent....I'd have a team and she would be a team member.... and then once she has some significant experience and confidence, you could make her a co-leader of the team....
