All you need is one serious player who doesn't see rain but a chance to buy

It depends. Rain can often bring lots of people to open house events.

Depending how bad it is you should just take a nap. We've had rain for 4-5 days now & it's getting ridiculous.

You might be surprised. Sometimes a football game can do much more damage to open house traffic than bad weather.

It's rainy and overcast here, and I'm wondering, too. 20 minutes in and 2 hours snd 40 to go..

I have no idea... here in Charlotte is been pouring on and off since about 8pm on Saturday... not a day when we'll see many people out and about.

It will be interesting to see how many actually do show up. Be sure to report back.

Bad weather can keep people away -- good weather can mean they have other choices -- as Eric Kodner said a football or basketball game can keep people home. During the State Fair is usually a bad time, and May to June with graduations and graduation parties means people are busy. Any holday weekend will be slow.
I never worry about how many will show up! I only need ONE to make my day. And worst case scenario, I havea quiet afternoon to read my book and my neighbor's kids get cookies : )

Maybe more than you think, if they can't partake in outdoor activities. How many real buyers - ?

Depends. Could be a busy time for you - hope so - and with at least 1 buyer ready to write an offer

Often, this forces folks to inside activities so you may be surprised. I would have booties at the door.

When we have rain or snow, most do not hold open houses or broker opens.

Good morning Michael. It really doesn't matter how many, it matter if there are some real buyers that do come to view the home.

No active rain here, just active sunshine. My guess is you'll have 10-25% of your normal volume, depending on the intensity of the rain and how your area reacts to rain. Those that do come out will be more serious though.
