Yes, and I like to get them. I like to see how other agents market their listings, what the houses look like, the prices, etc. I like the big picture view since I am very visual. 

Remax is the most annoying about it. I unsubscribe but they add me back. If any of those agents ask me, I'd say: thanks but do NOT add me.

Yes, both in the area and out of the area.  I find it very annoying.  Especially those that don't have an opt-out in their emails.

Against - I have the MLS if I want to see listings in their area I will go there. I opt out or block them.

Worse yet, is when their market is 25+ miles away or in the city.

I receive eblasts from my partner Realtors.   I find them useful both as a communication tool to maintain a relationship with MY partners and as a way to let clients who have gotten pre-APPROVED with ME but have NOT chosen a Realtor yet to see what is available in the area. 

Yes and that practice is beyond bottom feeding.

Not very often.  Depending on the email, I either unsubscribe and/or report as spam.

I agree, I can look on the MLS for new listings.  When time premits I will unsubscribe.

Yes, dozens of them every day. Emails from Agents I network with I open. The rest I delete. The most annoying are new listings from out of state.

I hate them too Corinne, if I had a client interested in their listing, I would have seen it in MLS.   I unsubscribe from all.   We already get way too much email.

Yes, I do. And I do not like them. I don't need them. I have the MLS and know how to search for homes.  The only time it may provide value is if the email was for an off-market sale.

I don't currently use an email blast system but I do use the delete key frequently.  

Very against open spamming of new listings or any type of email campaign. I coudl get a couple of dozen a day. They ruin it when you actually have a new listing that may meet an agents clients who say you showed another home to that may like this one

I do and I hate them!  I tolerate the ones from my own office, but the rest I Unsubscribe immediately.  Why would I want the whole MLS in my Inbox?

Yes, I do. And I don't mind receiving them as they often alert me to something that may have slip past me when I was searching in MLS. I also send them out from time to time... and when I do, I see showings pick up.

I do and delete them.  I've never found them helpful.  Isn't it why we pay for the MLS??

I get some new listings blasts and appreciate them, they usually give more description that the MLS provides.

I am clearly aligned with your feelings on the matter.  I was interupted at lunch by an agent today while having lunch with my husband and dear friend for her to tell me about a "deal" she has listed.  Ummm, yeah, it's in the MLS right?  Ugh.

I have one firm, First Weber, that sends me specifically targeted listings, their software seems to be about the best at targeting the properties that we are looking for without sending listings that are not in our target range.

Yes I do, and they do just the opposite of their intent, major irritant.

I do and I usually just delete them. I don't understand why I'm on the mailing list of agents for listing announcements that are hundreds of miles away. 

I get them from Realtors OUTSIDE OF MY AREA, TOO!!!!

I'm neutral. I don't do blast emails. There are a few I like to get, because they are resort properties from out of my area, and I like seeing what's available. I unsubscribe when it's an agent from my area. I can see the new listing in the MLS, and I can see it's had a price reduction in my MLS as well.

I get several per day.  Tend not to help me out for the most part.  Most of the ones I get are out of the area agents/homes.  I get a couple local ones from agents I've done business with.  Sometimes I go to their Brokers Opens for fun, sometimes because they're in my area (one was two doors down from me).

Ah, if only it wasn't just one per lisitng!  I'm guessing that I now get 200-400 each day - coming soon, just listed, brokers open, every single public open, price changes, changes in the living room staging - it's totally out of hand and defeats the whole purpose.

Yes. It comes from a website that I never signed on to. I regularly try to unsubscribe, but I keep getting them...

Sometimes they put information in there that is not on the MLS such as "back on market", why it fell through escrow, and what inspections were done etc. If they are just straight emails with nothing new, no, then I would resent it too.

Yes and don't bother me. I send emails blasts too - they have the option to unsubscribe -

A few coming have nice flyers I just forward to those not too serious.....
