I see them in the right hand corner, which doesn't make them any less annoying!  But hey, if they bring in revenue for ActiveRain, I don't mind that much. 

If I ever decide to borrow the money and buy the site I will then let it bother me!

USA Today is even worse . It seems if you click on any new area you get hit with an ad !

I use chrome it does not have pop ups on AR...

With the Edge I think the feature is there if I can find it....

Marco Giancola - No, they really are annoying.  I especially disliked one that appeared yesterday as it blocked the upper left corner and didn't disappear as you scrolled down or have a way of deleting it. Sort of in your face and persisting.

It is unnecessary to be so inconsiderate.   There is a happy medium.
