I think that most entertainers have an exaggerated view of the importance of their opinions.

There is absolutely no way I want a man in the restroom with my daughter who is not her father.  How anyone can have an issue with that logic is beyond me

Since it is widely reported that the move was spearheaded by a convicted sexual predator, this is outrageous. Good riddance!!!

When men using women's bathrooms and vice versa becomes the battle cry of the land, we are pretty far gone down the urinals IMHO

I just dont understand how the rights of 3% of the population out weigh the rights of the other 97%  Make a unisex bathroom so those who want to make that choice can... but give the rest of us our right to privacy

Heard this, don't care what celebrities think anymore.  

I see other states passing "use whatever bathrooms you want" laws in their school districts and I've stated that this will lead to increases in sexual assaults and teenage unplanned/unwanted pregnancies.

Bruce Springsteen is irrelevant.  The bathroom law is ridiculous.  Many predictable problems will occur.  The left will continue to spew hate at the people who understand this is a disaster.  Unfortunately, those who push laws like this have no relationship with or understanding of logic. 

My first thought is the only one he is punishing is his fans that paid for tickets, got the day/night off, hired a baby sitter and planned for months to be let down.  As far as the law, i dont want anyone to be descriminated against, however i do not want a man in my teenager daughters restroom or lockerroom either. What about the rights of the girls who could become victims of people using the law as a shield?

Yes. Many business plans will be changed. A costly decision by the state.

Yes, I have... and while I agree that I don't want transgender people in public bathrooms, I also feel that all these celebrities are simply "jumping on some bandwagon for the cause-of-day." Where was Springsteen in supporting LGBT rights before this?

I listened to a piece on transgender issues and one of the speakers described being "neither a boy or a girl". So which bathroom will that person use?

I think he screwed his fans with his irrelevant opinions. I never loved him and would not have shelled out [some exorbitant amount, I'm sure] to see him. But many did, and are now disappointed. Wanker.

I trust 'Brucie' is held responsible for the costs of canceling the concert.....just like any entertainer would be required to do.

Other than that, I don't care what Brucie or Bono or Bon Jovie and on and on and on.....does.

The bathroom part is what they used to make the law appealling to the public and from the comments here its working. But the law goes much much further by taking away power from the people. Another big goverment power grab, only this time it is the republicans who did the grabbing.

Towns and cities now have no ability to pass ordinances about anything to with discimination, even if the citizens vote for it in a referendum.

Local munincipalities also now have no say in minimum wage matters.

And this law limits the right of women to sue their employers for discrimination.

I heard a little of it in the news this morning.  Although I like Bruce with this decision I hope he goes broke and never sells another record.  

I don't blame him.  The law is making a laughing stock our of such a beautiufl state!

Only if all bathrooms were single self-contained units, would I think that unisex is ok. Otherwise, please take a look at your actual body parts and select accordingly.

What is going on down there  and who is enforcing these laws?

It's their right.  They must suffer the consequences but why would they support a place that is going against everything they believe in?  This happened in Arizona when the bigoted government refused to acknowledge Martin Luther King day.  State ban abortion in their own way.  Why would people support a government that dictates a women's right to choose?  Especially if they didn't believe they were right.  Wouldn't we all like to be in a position to make an impact and difference?

I admire anyone who stands up for their beliefs.

Bruce would really be making a statement by holding the concert and donating all proceeds to a charitable organization.   If a guy paraded into the ladies room after my wife or daughter there would definately be a problem.

When celebrities try to 'flex their muscles' and force their agenda on others, it is highly distasteful and repugnant. The voters need to be allowed to have their voices heard without undue influence from any quarter.

Well this is news to me. I had to read some of the comments below, and I'm glad I did. There are some great ones.

I feel if you make a commitment to perform and your fans have made plans to attend and bought your tickets you should follow through.

I think it is ridiculous.  There must be other ways to get your political opinions heard.  Do they need to agree with every law in every state they perform in?
