The pop-ups have been gone for a while, at least for me. I'm sad to see them back. At least it's not a "must-acknowledge" one; as long as it's not covering what you need to see/do it does not impinge on being able to do stuff on the page.

No, One click of the "x" should stop it from reappearing but it doesn't.

I am not a lover of pop up ads and there was one yesterday that I could absolutely not make disappear - at least not on my iPad.  Ugh. 

So annoying!

I HATE IT !   I complained when they first came out and asked why they were not placed on the RIGHT side where 1/3 of the page vertically is blank.   The original ad was moved to that side and other Rainers and myself were OK with that.

Today, I got slapped in the face again !   Literally !!!   I find it RUDE, INAPPROPRIATE and UNNECESSARY !   I also find it disruptive to MY using the site, especially when I am using my Iphone to check MY homepage and see the current activity on my account.   The ad actually OBSTRUCTS being able to see who commented or answered my entries.

I am PAYING for access and usage of this site and I do NOT think it is in my best interest or what I PAID for to be SLAPPED IN THE FACE every time I sign into MY, that's right, it's MINE; account !

I think ALL Rainers should STAND UP and be heard on this matter and DEMAND that ActiveRain take them down or, at least;

MOVE THEM BACK TO THE RIGHT !

Thank you for the feedback. It should be that if you close it once, it won't continue to return and you will be ad free on the my home page the rest of the day.

Ads are everywhere.  I do not focus on them or allow them to cause me anything.

Nope, not loving it.  It's hard to imagine that annoying me will inspire me to buy the thing causing the annoyance. 

One day, I will cease to see any & all intrusions from the economic world and have a gladness about it. This obsession with making money is tiresome

Haven't received one.  I have a prety secure pop up blocker.  YEA ME!

I haven't gone to the My Home page yet, but will now check it out.

I think once you have deleted, it should not pop up every time you come back to your home page.

I did not even notice. Maybe not everyone has them?

doesn't bother me at all.  And I'm pretty sure the owner of the platform can use it to advertise anytime he wants.  

I ignore the pop ups on just about every page. I can't even tell you what they are.

I just X them out, ads are everywhere.

Neither am I.  I spent a few minutes blocking them (or at least trying hard to).

Not my favorite.  Though, they have the right to try to pay for this site.

Eric Kodner If they are in the corner, I don't pay much attention to them. If they blow up in my face on the screen, it is reason enough to leave the page. Every pop-up usually has a cookie associated with it.
