We do recycle.  In fact, we have more recyclable items than we do trash.  From a true scientific standpoint, I don't know if it actually helps the planet or not.  I just know that I feel better because I believe that in some small way, it does help the planet a bit.

I recycle - and my recycling bin is outside so I carry my trash outside and get exercise too.  Is either A or B right or wrong as long as I recycle???  I do care (if that is C)

We have a big 96 gallon toter that they pick up every other week. It is amazing how much you can recycle if you pay attention.

I do not recycle unless it is big items and then we will take them to the refuse center directly. I think it is a good idea but just never got into it yet. Maybe soon.

Yes Michael, we are very serious about helping our earth and not throwing away things that can be reused or recycled.

We care and yes, we have recycled for over 40 years.We believe it only makes a difference if the recycled material does indeed get recycled. There have been cases in the past where the recycled items, are eventually sent to landfills due to no market for the refuse.

We recycle weekly - our Carlsbad trash service picks up at the house. I have also recycoed hazardous waste (they pick up) and do the glass and plastic bottles amd cans buy back at the recycle facility in town

Our trash gets picked up 1x weekly, and our recycle gets picked up every other week. Most weeks I wish it were reversed because we always have more recycle than trash. 

I do recycle because I was required to in NYC many years ago. So now I'm in the habit of doing so. Really don't know what to think as to whether it helps the panet or not, but I figure it doesn't hurt.

Recycled plastics are priced too low to resell, so guess where the trash handlers are burying the collected material they can not sell?

But I still fee good when I put the right stuff in the big blue container.

I have been recycling since high school and helped get some community recycling programs started years ago. It makes a big difference by reducing pollution. It is not the solution but it does help.

I do think it matters and I do care.  Unfortunately, my Waste Management Company doesn't seem to care as much as I do, and does not accomodate my interest in the subject.  

We don't recycle outside the city, unless we seperate and take them to the recycling center ourselves.

Minot ND has no recycling program but I do recycle paper to keep it out of the landfill.

I recycle for those reasons and because we get  a discount on our garbage when we recycle

yes and no.  I do compost things that can go into the compost pile in my yard. I do it and yes it helps the planet, it makes great soil for growing things.  And I plant things in the soil after a few years and they grow great.  I also recycle things to keep them out of the landfill, but my little bit is just a drop in the bucket.  I wish more people would get on board.

Yes I do & I think that it helps the planet. I also like to see all the great things that are now made with recycled plastics. The other day they had this great patio set that was just great looking.

Recycling is a given here and we have been doing it for years!!! YES, I CARE. YES, I believe it helps the planet. I would recycle even if it were not expected.

Nope.  I think it's a scam, like global warming.  I've also never seen a line item on my trash bill for "credit towards customer's bill for recycling" therefore I think any money made is being pocketed by the trash company.  In essence, making everyone who sorts their trash an unpaid employee of the trash company.  On the rare occassion that I have a soda bottle to recycle, I give it to someone who needs the money.

I wil recycle if it is convenient.  I have a recycle bin close to my garage so now I use it.  It's a longer walk to the trash bin....

I do recycle and did before it was "cool".  As a boy, my brother and I collected old newspapers from heighbors and about once a month we would load up the family station wagon and my Dad would take us to the recycling center to collect our reward. It was someting like 35 cents a ton or something like that, a lot of work for a little money :)

I do TRY to recycle.... the town picks up the trash and there are two different barrels on wheels....one is for recycling and other for everything else....I try to use the right one....

Yes and while my contribution is rather small and inconsequential , I continue to do it.  

I do recycle.  I figure it can't hurt and just might help.  BUT... when I travel to places that don't recycle, I wonder if it's not all just a bunch of hooey.  I'll keep doing it though -- I twitch when I don't.

Our city provide a large recycle can.  I would say we recycle about 76% of recyclable items.

We make multiple trips to recycling weekly and probably have 4-5x more recycled than trash. Reusable grocery bags, annual electronics dump, repurposing. Who knows if it matters, but it matters to me. (You can take the girl out of LA, but . . .) ;)

Yes. We do it because our City makes it easy with weekly collections.

We split our refuse stream into recycling and garbage.  It works.

To be honest, I think recycling is a joke.  It has not saved our community any money but only cost us time and effort and money ... I do it because it is expected of us.

     I re-purpose or re-use when possible. 

     Recycling?  It is a racket that enriches the pockets of politicians and waste management companies.  If they really cared, they would go back to returnable Coke bottles and glass milk bottles.

We do, seems like it's not much for just the 2 of us.  

Everything including clients, and referrals.....

We shread papers and they go to mulch.....
