Good morning Michael. Sometimes depending on the question, but I have not when the author is anonymous.

Sometimes... it depends on what else I might know about that person... and then, of course, on the nature of the question.

The picture means nothing. It is the question that matters.

When a member asks an Anonymous question it doesn't mean they do not have a photo or a profile. It simply means that, for whatever reason, they don't want their name associated with the question. Perhaps there is a confidential cause to this? Advice is being sought that might pose a problem should the Brokerage be involved?? Who knows what goes on in someones mind??
As long as AR provides the option to ask an anonymous question, I will respond if it is of interest to me. If not, I pass on by but it is not determined by a profile photo.

Nope, I agree. If you don't know how to load your pic you're in big trouble & should probably not drive a car either.

No i dont and wish everyone else would refrain from it as well. It takes less than a minute for the to complete profile. I also think everyone should refrain from answering anonymous questions as well.

I do not respond to questions or blogs that are obviously questionable in nature.

In the online world of profile-protocol, no photo means an incomplete profile. So, why reward someone with your knowledge, if they can't even complete a basic profile?
I don't mind if they want to be anonymous, (pending the question) maybe they ask a sensitive question and for example, they don't want people to know they are struggling, but an incomplete profile shouldn't be rewarded. I don't let cutters in line either.

I check their score total first, then consider the nature and quality of the question If they have a low score meaning they are probably a newbie; I want to be supportive. If it is a good and appropriate question, again; I want to be supportive. Otherwise, I move on to more deserving queries.

It does not matter for me, some pictures are just logos or views. I pay attention mostly to the question and not to a person who asked it.

Usually with a snarky comment. (They really need a happy face with devil horns for moments like this). Sometimes with an answer in addition to the snarky comment. Did that today. Usually just something snarky if the question is begging for it!

if I have an answer to the question. What if the question was "how do I upload a profile photo?" would you feel differently about that poster?

As others have written, it depends on the question, though if they have a 'name' I might, as there might be a reason not to have a picture up yet TeamCHI - Complete Home Inspections, Inc. If they are 'anonymous', with 'no picture', then I don't see any reason why! If they are another realtor playing a game hoping to get 'different answers' to a question, I don't understand that reasoning, and would rather answer questions if I can, from people that I see on AR all of the time.
