Not my kind of thing at all.... seems too limiting.

 If I were with my husband, yes, I could do it, because it would be a fantastic adventure, but it is not the kind of thing I would want to do without him.  It just would not be as much fun. 

Scott Kelly is the subject of my blog posting for tomorrow.   Look at your own life and think about it.   Imagine how much has changed since he left and what he missed out on.   And he can NEVER regain that time.   So to everyone, live like there's no tomorrow because none of us are promised another breath.

But seriously, unbeschreiblich . . . imagine complete/near isolation with  fishbowl exposure, but able to communicate with the world at most any time with all eyes on you. TERRIFYING. NOPE. I'm a double Earth Sign and like my feet on terra firma.

Too chlosterphobic for me, plus I'm afraid of heights. 

I don't need to go to space because I am already a Space Cadet but it would be nice to slow the aging process for a year.

No, I don't think I'd like that.  I would prob get motion sickness and I'd be said not being w/ my family and pets.

They had a very nice documentary on this on PBS a few days ago.

A year is too long, but I would love to go for a couple of weeks. 

I don't like close spaces so not for me. I did hear tht Kelly grew 2 inches taller. The lack of gravity allows the vertebrae to spread and that woud be good for anyone with back problems.

Only if I could do it Star Trek style.  To sit in one place, not so much.  I want to explore new worlds and seek out new civilizations.  To boldly go where no man has gone before.

No way, I would die in that small capsule just getting up there. Makes me nervous just thinking about it! 

Not me. I would not like to be the whole year isolated and being stuck in the same space. 

Boot camp was long enough for me to be totally disconnected from family and the outside world, no thanks!

He grew a couple inches which was funny.  All short people are signing up to go.

You could never beat the view. Check out some of his pictures, He did like a Ted talk to kids about how he noticed the gunk in the atmosphere especially in certain countries.

When I was younger/young - perhaps.  Now, not so much.

I wouldn't want to spend a year in space.

No desire to spend a year out there but a month would give a good perspective of what it's like .to the layperson. Mr. Kelly has definitely joined the ranks of a very elite group and hopefully we can learn much from his experience.  

Maybe a couple of days to see what it is like but no more than that.
