The computer hadn't been invented when I got my license.

I did it in a classroom and had the best instructor I have ever had in any class, bar none.  Obviously I would do it that way again.

My prelicense was classroom.  I had a wonderful instructor, a former agent, broker and a write of the state portion of the real estate exam on on his resume prior to teaching me.  

My broker's course I did on line.  At the time I didn't have the time to dedicate to a classroom experience (my prelicense class was 6 months long in 1994) so I took it on line and just hammered down and got it finished in two weeks.  It was 60 hours (I think).  Both experiences were the right thing for me at that time.

Long time ago, but I would still do the classroom.  Then online for the continuing ed.

When I got my first license, in MN, I had to do it in the classroom.  It was probably best to do it that way when I started.  When I got my WI brokers license, I did it online on my own time.  That is the way I prefer to get my CE too, on my own time online.

I did it in a classroom. I went through a six month course. Keep in mind that CO is also one of the more difficult states in which to get licensed. That's because once we pass the test, we are all brokers. There is no sales agent status in my state. 

Though I do enjoy the luxury of not having to travel for an online class, I also enjoy the interaction of a live class.

Online, I do most of my classes online.

Classroom was REQUIRED.  Online is preferred.

Back in the day we had to wait two weeks for results from the exam. Then when the envelope came in the snail mail the debate was how fast do I want to open this! Today it's instant by pushing a button on a computer

I had not choice but classroom when I was licensed. Still would do classroom. I don't concentrate well learning on a computer.

That was not a requirement for my agent license. Hours in the business were required to qualify for my broker exam and those were in person out in the field and in the office.

I do everything online, right now i need to make time for my 4 classes of CE/annual. 

i have taken several educational update courses online.  I enjoy that.  The only courses I prefer to take in a classroom setting are ones which are beneficial to networking.

I did Classroom hours here in AZ, as did Roger.  In CA, Roger did On-Line hours.  He was very self-motivated, while I needed more structure, which worked out great for both of us Debbie Reynolds!  

It was so long ago, I listened to audio tapes in a dark room in the basement of Coldwell Banker.  LOL   Life Patricia Kennedy , the computer hadn't been invented then.

We do our Continuing Ed on line, and we like it. A

I started out on-line, but wanted the classroom interaction, and would do that again.  

My prelicensing course was in a real estate school class room.  I enjoyed the experience and had great instructors.  Given the choice today I would do it online.

When I originally got my license there was no prelicensing requirements.  To get my Missouri license I took my classes online.  I prefer online and would take them online in the future.

17 years ago it was all classroom...

On line for California, Classroom for Florida.

On Line is so much more convenient

Classroom, only option back in the dark days before the internet.  I liked where I went, so I wouldn't change anything.

I did mine in a classroom.  I think that's the best way to begin when you're brand new.

For prelicense I would choose classroom every time. 

Combo, Debbie Reynolds  ... for my LO licensing and for my appraising license both (back in the day).  Glad I had some choice ...

I did it in class and am glad I did. I try to do my CE in live sessions. You get to meet people and you get more questions and interaction.

There were no prelicensing hours required when I got my license long ago.

We did not have a choice - classroom for lectures (60 hours now I believe) plus 30 additional for Broker after two years of being agent. Test practices I did on a CD and from books. Would rather avoid the in-class stuff - too many hours of blah, blah, blah.

The only choice I had when getting a liense in Illinois and Florida was classroom attendance! It is ancient history!

Good morning Debbie. I do all of my CE testing online, it would be a real problem if that was not the case, since I am licensed in 8 states.

I did mine in a classroom along with self-study.  I'd probably do it online now if I was faced with that situation now.
