Thats why when I have people in my car that I'm talking with I have my GPS on to "ping" me to pay attention when a turn is required. It works! Don't know how much I trust the idea of self-driving cars yet.

Not for a while

No self driving car for me.  No I don't think the self driving car will work for real estate. 

Since we are probably the worst drivers on the road, I think self driving cars would be wonderful.

I would love for the car could park it self while I got the door opened and house prepared for showing

I'd love to leave the driving to the car so I can focus on the client.  Right now I do showings with a business partner so we can keep the buyers engaged and the other can focus on finding the house.  It can become a fun game to "where is the sign hidden today"  "who can spot the home first."  You'd be surprised (or not) how many times a sign gets hidden by a tree, or RV.

Tour buses, cruise ships. They seem to work just fine in the areas they serve.

But, be aware, the agent won't be needed either. As the EMPLOYEE model of Codwell Banker, Redfin and builders grow the furture is not what you think it will be. 

It is still a ways off. One of them just hit a bus because the bus was moving too slow.

Science Fiction has a way of showing the future; we have a wrist phone from Dick Tracy, a submarine frome Jules, helicoptor from DaVinci and so many more. I am waiting for the molecular scambler from Star Trek to teleport us from point A to point B!

1) Google maps is what % correct? In my area, it's wrong a good portion of the time & don't know why.

2) Just read this morning where a Google car hit a bus because it thought the 'bus would move'. Yeah right .....

The u-turn is a realtors best friend .

Until self-driving cars are better than I am at watching out for kids playing in or near the street, pets, etc. I will keep driving.

I am trying to save my pennies for a Tesla with an autopilot.

A self driving car programmed to see the open houses. When interested strike a deal directly with listing agents. Why needing a buyer realtor for?

I hope not, i enjoy the drive to a new home with clients.

We need to see how they operate in day-to-day traffic conditions first.
