It happens and that's when I know I have to reach out and comment on more blogs myself.  I've found when I'm more appreciative of others work, is when they find their way to my own.

Fred Griffin at times I thought I spent lot of time and it was like shooting in the dark - nobody heard that or cared for it.

Now this happens with my market reports  - no comments most of the time. However, almost 6,000 views on my market reprots every month. Who cares for comments?

i do remember that one where i took a selfie in a speedo..i thought that would get something..nada... and it was a red speedo !!  lol... i doubt if that has happened to you fred... but Bob.. Bob Crane  i see it happening all the time too :)  jk

The well researched article are for the more advanced readers. I spent a great deal of time research Z read every word on their security filing. I got zero reader.

Very few AR lenders even know Z has been a lender for sometime and they have access to every transaction info incl FICA #, contact info etc since they also own electronic doc signing company since last year.

What do I know? Then someone gave their opinion of something w/o realizing info has been in public domain for awhile.

No,  I have always received, at least one comment or more.

In the beginning when I did not know any of the other people here it happened.

Not really, but I do see some that don't have comments, it depends alot on time of day for the post.

Yes.   It concerns me for about, . . . that much time and then I put another blog out.   If you are putting out quality information on crucial subjects, searchers on the Internet will find it eventually and respond accordingly; even if ActiveRainers don't.   I've also seen them get comments months later when an ActiveRainer doing a search does find it relieving my momentary concerns at an earlier date.

I see many blogs with many posts with few or no comments. It is sad. It happens because they post often, but do not make any other contributions to this community. This will happen to everyone if they discontinue points. 

It has happened and generally it is the time of day I posted it, could have been a long weekend or just too contraversial of a subject and people were waiting for others to take the initial step... did it bother me NO.Endre

I had lots of those when I first started posting on Active Rain.  Then it dawned on me, that I should comment...and then it all worked out.  I agtee with Susan Emo that you just have to reach out and keep commenting...A

In my first year here I had lots of them, kind of teaches you to not spend too much time on any particular post, many will never be seen.

Yes I have and I went back and changed the title and BAM it fixed it.

I think when I first started on AR that may have happened, but that was many years ago.

I can honestly say that's never happened to me, and for that, I'm very thankful....

I went to bed, woke up the next day and wrote another blog.

I've  had a couple blogs that I thought would be a hit...  and they weren't.  I don't take it personal.  

Unfortunately yes ... and I felt lousey.  But a comment does not always prove that someone actually read the post and digested the info within it.  Nor does the lack of a comment mean it wasn't read .. or found of value.  I try to remember that ... but it's not always easy, Fred Griffin  ...

I have posted hundreds of blogs that had no comments. 

I don't think that has ever happened to us. That would be a real negative and call for an evaluation of one's thought patterns.

Not much anymore but definitely in the beginning.  

When I started blogging there might have been. If you comment on other blogs you will find that there are many who reciprocate comments.

No, but have had a couple that I thought were good with minimal comments! Just keep blogging!

Yea, i have some like that. Doesn't bother me. I sometimes review them and see if I need to make changes, add a better photo, etc. I also post them on other platforms to see what happens.

The different platforms I post my blogs in have a range of audiences. and also timings. Try posting it again in a different time slot.

I did years ago. It is rare today.

It happens from time to time on various posts.  Everyone has different objectives for blogging.  Some people do not have a need to be worried if no one comments.

No, I haven't had that happen to me.  If I spent a lot of time on a blog and got zero comments, I would not be happy.  I agree with Susan Emo.

Well, I did have one Blog that only received '2' comments!  I do have to realize that what I think might interest others, does not, especially when it is not real estate related.  That is 'ok', because I know that I put time and thought and effort into it, and I will do another one Fred Griffin.

I did once.  I blogged about it and some people felt sorry for my and commented on it!

My first blogs, and had no idea you were suppose to receive any comments until years later.     Haven't had that happen for a long time now.

Sure... when I first started blogging. Of course, at that time I was too stupid to know that comments might be a good thing.

I think only for market reports and that sort of thing. I really don't expect comments. A good way to generate some comments, apart from writing good quality content of interest to people is to comment on others' post - many will recprocate

It happens.  We don't control others schedules or what piques their interest.  Tomorrow I'll write another post and maybe that one will have different results.  Some days I don't leave any comments (like yesterday, swamped end to end), so perhaps our "regulars" we're having a similar day.  Bill
