Wearing my name badge makes me uncomfortable, but I do it anyway.
Of course we all hire surrogates to lead generate for us, but I don't think that is the direction of your question. The question includes 'feel comfortable performing' suggests a belly-to-belly a in person engagement.
Face-to-face is the preference of those with the time to invest and the need to create relationship of greater value.
A purposed open house absolutely does that. Every weekend is a good frequency.
Door knocking separates the weak kneed from those who have purpose, so this is a good option to deliver real value to homeowners in the community. No more that once per month per community.
And I do like garage sales.
