I am sure you could get a buyer dying to get into the house to repaint it!  (couldn't help myself).  The location is a turnoff for some cultures, since their respect for the dead is different than ours.  However, focus of peace and quiet will attract the right buyer.  Good luck!

Yes the color could affect the price but is easily corrected. The cementary may not bother a buyer at all. I just closed on two houses next door to a cementary and both were new houses that sold before finishng.

Jack Lewitz I had a buyer who almost bought the home with a cemetery behind the home! Overall it was a great neighborhood.

Color can be handled easily by repainting.

And pricing - your main question - yes, it was a bargain for my buyers.

Personally, I would not care, and as Mary Yonkers mentioned, you would not have neighbors partying at all hours, or having fights.  Pink can be handled with paint.  In some people's minds it would affect the price.  A

The pink house or the cemetery?

 Pink brick--ok

Close to cemetery means quiet neighbors

Well, the pink can be repainted, and I don't know if it would affect the price, as it's a fairly easy/inexpensive fix.  The cemetery would not bother me at all, as I've worked in the Funeral Home Industry before Real Estate, and I find that a very calming, peaceful place with many family's loving thoughts all around, especially when they visit their loved one.  I guess it could affect a price, though have no clue as to 'how much' Jack Lewitz

I've sold a few pink houses! Just depends on the neighborhood and what goes! The cemetery on the other hand would be the breaking point around here and definitely affect the price.

House can be painted. Location could be an issue for some. There is one in our area, vacant with good price.  It's a hard sell.

It wouldn't bother me, but I think it would affect price and make it harder to sell. I've shown properties backing to cemeteries and the cemetery was main reason buyers passed on them. There is a pink house near here and it's an historic landmark.

I had a pink house (not near a cemetery) that was hard to sell.  I think both would affect the price.  Hard to say how much, because we don't know your market.  In my market, it would probably be at least 10%?

Any color house next to a cemetary is an issue. Lots of people won't live close to one. The pink color is a whole other issue. But in this case, it's a double whammy! Price impact for color--probably the cost of repainting. Cemetary--hard to say... but I would think at least an 8-10% hit (which is what I see in my market for homes backing up to busy roads, in poor school districts, etc.)
