I prefer to work out of a real office. Less distractions.

Home office. We don't need the fancy copiers or printers there and don't want the overhead of a brick and mortar. Home works great for us. If you need to meet people, that's why they invented starbucks... (it certainly wasn't for their coffee).

Home office. I liked being at the brokerage but there were too many distractions and I was not terribly productive.

I like having an office at the brokerage because when there I am in "work" mode.

I like my home office as much better than working at the office. Agents are talking and not working.

I join the chorus -home office. I used to work exclusively out of the office and my prior brokerage. The strain of the transition from one office to another pushed me home, but once I adjusted, I am much more productive.

For many years liked the go to the office concept, but recently my leaning is towards the home office to get more done!

Fathom Realty Recruiter - both. I am almost 65% at home and 35% at office.
Planning to strike a balance at 50-50.

I like having an old fashioned office. Mine is full of really good agents and has a very high energy level. At home, the energy is provided by a Labradoodle who wants constant attention.

I get more done working from home. I do have a desk at the office and it's nice to work from there also. Tend to socialize at the office.

I get more done in my home office, but I do have a private office in our brokerage as well.

I do have an office at home, but I really work out of the brokerage office. I have many reasons for this. One is that I don't want prospective buyers and sellers coming to my house. In light of some recent events, there aren't any reasons for them to know where I live. If I want them to know, I will tell them.

Home office. Its the only set up I know. I have had access to an office, but rarely used it because it was too far away.

I have both....when the winter leaves us snowed in for a day, I still need to market..... I go to the office 90% of the time....I need to mentor and face to face is best....but I've certainly done that by phone, too....

I do my Business at the office and tell the agents it is good to be in the office. If they are here they are the first to find out about new listings before they hit the MLS. If a referral needs to be assigned typically an agent who is in the office may get the assignment. Allot of deals get put together by agents communicating in the hall ways!

I have both an office, (for meeting clients) and a home office, where I do all the processing. The state of Illinois requires me to have a commerical office.
My business phone is a cell phone so clients and agents can contact me anytime.

Home office is where the work gets done. Fewer distractions. I can work on the secret projects and intended targets without cubicle ears being tempted.
However, I do need AAA conference room and lobby presence along with the broker who is accessible.
Why? Clients want to know they are working with a brokerage that has real substance. They are invited into the inner circle when the 'broker/owner' is introduced to these important guests.
It is not always necessary, but when it is, the local Panera just won't do.
I have worked with title companies who will put my name on the board when I reserve the conference room.

I prefer a professional office setting as a place to meet clients. Even though we have a fully equipped home office, we would never meet clients in our home.

When I was a new agent I spent a LOT of time at the office. I needed the support, interaction and the resources the office had to offer. As an veteran agent I spent VERY little time at the office. I even emailed all my transaction documents. I liked having both, but prefered my home office for the convenience and flexibility. The real office was just for initial client meetings and some staff meetings.
