Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington - that may happen with me! Paying too much to my current career whereas I need to spend half of it to get better service from another.

I call up my carrier once a year and threaten to move. They immediately transfer me over to the customer loyalty department and we negoiate a new deal. I have 2 iPhones and 2 iPads. I get 6 gigs of data, unlimited minutes and texts for $100 mo.

I been thinking about leaving current carrier not because of price wars but because of dropped calls.

They just propositioned me & I left just a few months ago. They struck me a pretty good deal at Sprint & I'm happy with it.
I think that really you have to keep up with all the changes or you find out you are getting ripped off big time with certain packages. I can't believe what some of my friends are paying for 'flip phones' & the like.

No, not worth the trouble of anguish of moving carriers. In the end, they are all pretty much the same as it comes to price in any one market.

Good morning Paul. Have no plans on jumping ship, have been with Verizon for years, the store that I work with is also a referral partner.

It's the service I seek but when this all began I had considered it. A call to customer service and a hint of making the move brought me on par with any competitiors offers. So, so simple to save almost 40% and still have the best reliable connection from prior experience.

I didn't actually notice that there was a cell phone carrier war taking place. But I loved the response from Val Evans and think I will call my carrier every year to see if I can get some better deals!

Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington My two year contract with Verizon ends at the end of March. Maybe Verizon will give me another free iPhone. I can't complain about their area coverage.

I would rather pay a little bit extra to stay with a reliable service than take the chance on an unknown. But I will be jumping ship on cable TV some time this year. That pricing has gotten completely out of hand and there are so many better alternatives.

Paul - This has been going on for quite some time, and the carriers keep upping the ante' to get consumers to convert.

Paul,
Our hilly terrain makes price irrelevant. We need coverage and no company, including those who brag about their coverage, do a good job in Colorado Springs.

I have been with T Mobile for as long as I have had a phone, and with only paying $89.00 per month with unlimited everything, can't beat it.

I have not seen that Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Broker, Tacoma Washington - I do feel I could get a much cheaper cell service but I question the quality. I am with the Big V. I know so many who brag about how little they pay and their phone drops calls ... a lot.

In this area verizon and ATT are the only dependable ones and cover the most area, so no sense in switiching from Verizon at this point. I figure if Verizon can pay $500.00 to have others switch to them, then they can pay me $500.00 for not switcing to ATT.

I am tempted, but in my area, my current carrier is the only one out there were I get the most coverage. We have a lot of valleys and hills where there are dead spots. It's an issue for buyers when looking for houses away from town.

It is like auto insurance it should be priced shopped to see if the present company is not gouging but make sure the coverages are all the same. And yes I will be checking.
1,758,437
The strength of the signal and lower % of dropped calls is most important to us regardless of the price.

I have no contract to buy out. I've been with T-Moblie for years--great plan in terms of carry costs, great international coverage, and because I've been a loyal customer for so long, they really go out of their way for me when I need it. So I guess, I wouldn't jump ship.
