No, I don't see that ever happening. I have a team that I can turn to should I need support in my efforts.

William,
I have an outstanding broker associate Kim Gaston (who is also a terrific stager) to back me up. So far we have been able to handle all the sellers and buyers we encounter.

No to sellers! Mostly no to buyers, but there are times!

William - I haven't had that problem yet, but it sure would be nice to have to deal with.

It is a bit easier with Sellers, however still receiving multiple offers, so probably one seller every few days. Buyers are tougher, as there are not enough homes on the market, and you have to drop everything to go show when one comes on the market. Probably only 2-3 buyers at a time.

I do not have a magic number but if I am too busy or have a labor intensive client I will refer out some business.

Of course I do. I would never take on more business than I know I can manage and provide the exceptional service that I feel everyone deserves.

Buyers can be very time consuming, and it depends how fast they move and ready to commit. I do not limit sellers. The most the better, they are always welcome:)

I think one needs to limit the number of buyers....but I've worked with as many as 30 resale listings at one time plus two subdivisions....no team....no assistant.... no issues and no days off!!!! I worked 365 days without a day off.... that was insane and only did it one year....no amount of money was worth doing it again....

No, I can always partner up with other agents in office if I was overloaded.

At one point last year Amanda and 13 deals pending, 5-7 active listings, and 2-3 active buyers each. That was almost too much, but we have a team that helped us get it done.
- It's rare that we are THAT busy, FYI.

If I'm overloaded I'll refer them to other agents. Usually don't refer unless I think someone else is more qualified in the area of the property to list or area buyers want to look!

No, have never even thought about doing that William Feela. Currently we have more Sellers than Buyers, though that situation changes!

I have never had that problem. Predominately i list more homes than have buyers i am working with, and listings are easier to maintain

I work with one at a time, and often several per day, but only one at a time.

Since I'm a solo agent, I limit listings to no more than 8-10. Just really can't service my clients properly otherwise. Buyers less so, as they often don't all need service from me at the exact same time.

I have not had buyers and sellers that I could not service . If I have a problem with having too many buyers I will refer them .

Yes, we put limits on that. That tends to lead to better service and higher close rate.

Yes, depending on what I have on my plate. I may delay or refer out beyond a certain number. Nothing carved. I like a couple dozen listings and about half a dozen active buyer/tenants in various stages of readiness. That is plenty.

I have never set a "limit" however there have been a few times that was frazzled trying to take care of everyone. Have not really figured out the secret to keeping things at an even keel. Is that even possible in Real Estate?
3,764,441
No, but if I ever felt overwhelmed, I'd refer some of it to a colleague.

William Feela - not exactly. I know it's a challenge to work with too many buyers at the same time. However, MREA (Red Book from KW) shows us a model of Showing Agent with which you can handle more buyers.
And when it comes to sellers - yes, there should be no limit, virtually.
