we are listing agents, and we have never missed an accompanied showing....

if I were the buyer's agent, I'd leave a business card wedged in the door saying "I was here with my client to see your home".... I'm sorry to say we never saw it....your listing agent was a "no show!!!"

Luckily no. However, "must accompany" doesn't happen too often in our area.

No, but they've been late and I find having to accomodate another agent's schedule henders the sale of homes. 

I have had them be late, but never a no show.

It's not happened to me, thankfully, although there have been a few that were quite late, and 1 I recall who did not bother to call to let me know. I really prefer to not have to be accompanied - it just gets a bit complicated in many cases to coordinate appointments with busy agents

YES, LOL, in fact it just happened a few weeks back. The seller let us view anyway.

Another time, not only did an agent stand US up, she had scheduled HER buyers same time and stood THEM up too. She lost the listing and deservedly so. We bought thru another listing agent.

I think I would contact the agents broker and let them know that you were not only stood up, but you tried texting and calling and never received a response from the listing agent.

No, accompanied showings are not that common in my market, thankfully.  Just as bad though are incorrect showing instructions, wrong lock box code, searching for a "hidden" lock box NOT where they claim it will be, etc.
