I occasionally feel that way. Thank goodness it isn't every time and is actually less thatn 10% of the time.

I have such right now. It is a huge time investment to keep everyone on track. That's why I enormously value working with people who knows what to do and good in it. 

Too many people worry about who to blame rather than work on a solution

I think its just that great Realtors really "care" about trying to make it easiest for everyone involved! 

All the time.  But when I first got into real estate my broker told me just assume no one is going to do their job except  you.

If we notice other "players" are losing focus we give them a "reminder"!!

Got to admit, sometimes yes! Sometimes you are dealing with people you are not compatible with and sometimes they just don't care!

Yep working on one right now.

I sometimes feel I work harder and care more than even the client.  Frustrating.

I realize that I’m not the only one but sometimes a little communication and cooperation would go a long ways.

It happens,  so many times the agent on the other end does not even return calls to me.

I'm fortunate in that there are a lot of great agents in my marketplace.  Every once in a while, I run into a cooperating agent that brings more drama and conflict to the transaction than there needs to be.  Buyers and sellers take their cues from their agents.  Even the most masochistic client can be calmed by a great agent.  That agent may need an adult beverage or two at the end of such an interaction though.

A balance of wills must be achieved and you will no longer feel that way!

Been there many times as an agent. 

Later as manager I helped some of my agents deal with the 'non-existent' other agent.  Occasionally the reason was part-time agents or poorly trained agents on the other end.

Richard - It happens. Not everyone has the same priorities as we may have, nor the sense of urgency. Just keep pushing forward to get the deal closed on time.

Far too often it does seem as if many are too focused on protecting their part of the deal and destroying the deal in the process.

I have worked with many new or part time agents that put forth very little effort or attention.   

Stuff happens.  

In transactions and in life.

Keep focused on the outcome.

 Richard, there are some real lazy agents out there. It's just the nature of the industry.

I think sometimes we just have to suck it up and do other peoples' jobs when we want the deal to work.

Guess I have never felt I was the ONLY one, but there are times when there is one person in the deal (and not necessarily the agent on the other side) who just doesn't seem to care much about the process and doing what is right or in a timely manner, or who perhaps just makes a lot of mistakes. I've been lucky to work with some really great agents in the last few years

Yes, I did face this problem in one of my loan in 2015. I am specialist in investor loan and that was investor loan with very small loan amount.  No one was interested because of loan amount and I know how important it is for investors to close on time.  I didn’t get any co-operation from HOA or anyone who was involved in that transaction except client.  It’s not they are lazy  or busy, sometime they don’t care about it. 

Sometimes I feel like the only one trying to push forward.  I guess communication would be the cure for it.

I don't feel that way very often. The agents I usually work with carry their own weight and are a pleasure to work with..I've had a few that didn't fall in the category but darn few!

We always run into those situations once in a while.  I'm glad it's not the norm.

 Yes, I know what you mean. Most of the time, it is just one person, usually the seller's attorney, but if it is more than one, it can be a real headache. All parties need to understand their roll in the process, and once that is done, things run better. Agents, get me the contract, attorney, get me the title, buyers, get me the docs I request in a timely manner, and the rest I will take care of. How hard is that?

We are not the Lone Ranger nor are we the only ones that care.  Those that don't hold up their end give a bad reflection on all but they are the exception not the rule.

when I was active in the business, I was the listing agent for all of my deals....and that happened often....I communicated directly with the buyer and did all the buyer agent's work.... never lost a deal....and the buyer agent never knew or cared.... but I always got the listing next time around!!!!

I always try to make sure everything is done on time, done right and ommunicated to the client. However some days , the lender and some days the buyer agent just cant seem to update us.

For the most part I don't have this happen, but sometimes it does. I can get frustrated, but I do what I can to keep things rolling along. 

Sure... more often than you think. I don't let it stress me, as I always keep in mind it's my fiduciary responsibility to get the deal to the closing table for my client. So I do what needs be done.
