I would love to kick my broker's ass, but he's been around since dirt was invented and all he has to do is sit in his office to get a buyer or a listing. One of these days, I will get him. 

More competitive with myself.

I am competitive, so yes there is one person in my company ahead of me in AR.  It would be nice to be in first place one of these days.

With us, it is a daily thing..  Our team is the same way.  Our web designer just came up with another innovation for our client's web site, and we came up with a wonderful slogan for another client, and just found a way to incorporate it on the biz card.  Our graphic artist inspires us by having recently drawn an amazing California oak for the a logo...Inspiration is the food for our soul.  A

Paul, Just against myself.  Try to do better each year, increase business, learn new things.  As for other agents, no one in particular that I check myself against.

As a self employed contractor you compete with yourself.  Why you are in the business? What is your goal? What does it take to get to the next level? It should have been determined by now.

In America one can be anything he wants. A Stanford phd can not sell any homes;yet a C student can be leader of our country.

When I was a newbie, a fellow newbie and I pushed each other, and we both had amazing first years.  He had health issues and moved away, and I really miss him.

No... not for me. I don't hardly know anyone in my office as I don't go in more than once or twice a month. It's my business and that's all I'm concerned with.

Having one of my sons working with me is a major support.

Good morning Paul. I have 6 other loan officers that work for my company, they are all very competitive, we all keep the peddle to the medal.

I think most of the successful agents are driven and competitive. I've never met a highly successful agent who didn't have a degree of ego.

the MLS has a list of the agents and office points totals, which keeps everyone competitive.

My clients inspire me on a regular basis.

Yes. I have been inspired by several of the highly productive agents in our office. 

Yes. There are several agents that I get motivation from. I am a competitive person and I like the challenge. I like the chase, the game and love to hate a good competitor. 

As you said Paul, I'm competing with myself. I admire others, but I don't want to be someone I'm not.

It's just me in the office, so no there.  In the market, not really.  Some lenders have gotten me to think bigger though.

I'm inspired by everyone who participates in our industry in my area.... I love to compete.... 

I was inspired by one particular REALTOR® who leveraged his reputation and financial position to become a builder and developer. I became a builder last year and this year I will be a partner in a development. Building a home is the equivalent of 4 or more home sales in return.

We have some really bad agents who are tough to work with and I think, embarass the industry. I intend to be the positive reverse of them.

Growing up in a real estate family, i always had to work harder, do the jobs no one else wanted to do, be that gopher before computers and all of it made me better today. Every day i compete against myself and some days praise myself whiles others spent thinking how to do more or do it better

I am horribly competitive with myself, other agents, you name it. I don't let it show though....I just get caught up in my own head at times!
