Other subjects might no longer be relevant so I would remove them. Like loan products that are no longer offered.

Do your best to have it forever unless your client demands removal.  

I only remove listings. Many times I will go to over the old ones and update the title to refresh and put in some new tags.

Forever and ever... just update any listing to "Sold" or "Off Market", and if anything else is dated, bring it current. 

Does this mean the length or does it stay percolating like a satellite after it's mission is done, when the property sells? The length depends on the listing type and avoid abosultes someone not using video demands. Put SOLD on the lead in of your videos after they sell. In the headline, in the copy.

I believe any video should be short 2-3 minutes at most. 

Will - I believe you are asking about the length of a video and not how long you should actually keep the video on YouTube. In that case, I have heard, no longer than two minutes. I would actually try and stay under one minute myself. People tend to have a very short attention span.

Long enough to say/teach/ show what it's supposed to do and short enough that we don't hit "exit".

Will Hamm I'm going to assume you mean the length of a video and not how long it stays on the YouTube site. I would say approximately one minute. After that I think eyes start to glaze over.

There are 2 ways to read this question I am interpreting it as the actual length of the video. People have short attention spans and the capture must happen within seconds. To keep it I would say no more than 3 minutes. 

It depends upon the video.  I have seen some that are more than 10 hours and worth watching.  I have watched many multi-hour videos.

That might depend on what it is for.  For consumers no more than 2-3 minutes, but it better be lively to keep their attention.  If it is teaching something maybe an hour.

For listings and similar, 3-4 minutes top. Just personal preference, but I have heard that from media pros too!
