Ron Dobrosielski - It's a good idea to go to Facebook page and post the link directly. Should not show blank page, to best of my knowledge.

And I do believe you get an option to select a picture from your post..

That's the place usually I do not post the links - checking other answers....

You must add a photo manually. Many post manually to Facebook because of this.

The ActiveRain interface with Facebook needs some work. Use your URL to get a selection of images. Images in your signature can also make these posts more difficult.

The plugin they have here ("Add this") doesn't work well w/ FB. You are better off posting directly on FB. Usually the pict will then show up (sometimes you need to try a few times) and will do better w/ the algo there.

Since pictures are so important, I will often just upload a photo to go with the post in Facebook itself. Not sure why this happens.
