No goals, only to blog to reach the public to make my phone ring to increase business! 

San Diego county is pretty stacked.  I'm 8 in La Jolla right now hope to be top 5 by the end of the year.

I am number 11 in the nation with some of the best bloggers above me.  I blog for clients and for freindships in the rain now

I'd like to get to 500K so my Rainmaker membership is free. I started late in the AR game for my area but am #2  now on Kauai.

Yes, my goal is for the 500k mark on points.  That'll get me #1 in my city by a long shot.  #2 in my county, so long as the current person doesn't get 7k more points and in the top 70ish in the state and on page two of the rankings!

I achieved my goals a while ago.  I want to maintain my position, but if I don't so be it as long as I'm successful here.

Not a goal for points per se --- it's a combination of making the phone ring, learning, having some fun and meeting some interesting people if only "virtually".   

I'm aiming for my million points before end of February. Currently, #3 in my state and #2 in city and county. Will try to see if I can't get to the #1 position by end of year.

I have a goal for how many I will earn, as far as the leaderboard, that is up to the other people on it, they can either keep working or get passed, not my choice but theirs.

I had a goal to become a free member, now I do not care about points since your position on the leader-board has no meaning to general public, only consistency of your blog posts and the contest of them.

Yup.  I want to get to 500,000 by the end of the year.  Ive been number one in my county for a while now, which is no real feat, and I'm moving up in the state.  No goals for state domination though.

No goal other than to keep collecting.

I don't think I have a shot at the state but they do say number two tries harder.

Just for fun, I'm trying to catch up to my buddy Jason E. Gordon who's currently #14 (366,046 points) in San Diego County. I'd like to be my lucky #13, just to keep his ego in check . I crossed over to 200,000 points in October 2015, so 300,000+ is doable. That would also put me in the top 115 in CA by then. This friendly competition will result in me having to plan out & research material for more blogs this year than ever before; a nice fringe benefit of AR. Even the Q&A forces me to research & learn before I answer many questions...love that!

Back when I was a lot more active and present, I wanted to stay in the top 20 for my state, and I blogged crazy. When AR and Trulia merged, I decided I didn't want them getting my content for free except listings, so I pulled my informational blogs and moved them to my own website. That's why on the leaderboard it looks like every post I ever wrote was featured. Haaa! Now, I am starting to put more content on the blog . . . started yesterday, in fact. Just to get me on the first page for AZ. Top 50.

But I do have a goal.

And if I've touched just one, I have won.

I do my thing and the points come. I am not trying to place or rank on the leaderboard. I am fine where I am.

Before achieving 1 million points I was very aware of my points and standing. I'm #1 in my town, #2 in my county (hopefully that will be #1 by the end of the week) and #7 in the state. I'm happy.

My real focus is to be engaged for my business, regardless of the points.

The originator of this site is a brilliant marketing genius for coming up with a points system and a leaderboard to make it's members compete against one another by contributing the most content. It's no wonder ActiveRain is right up there in being one of the heaviest real estate sites on the internet.
