Absolutely. My wife was licensed and provided support for my businesses for over 50 years.

Absolutely, my husband has had his broker's license for 30 years, and while pursuing another career still kept it active in order to support my career.  He is my sounding board and then backs up his suggestions with his knowledge of the industry.

We are spouses selling houses.

Yes, he actually would like to learn more and is eager to help me build my business.  No, he hears the good and the bad and when I'm frustrated he always lends me positive advice.

No sir I don't mix family and business.  My wife, unless she asks hardly ever hears about how many sales (or the lack of them) the office is doing.  I can separate the two.

All I can say is that my husband has the patience of a Saint and is very supportive. He goes with the flow:)

No spouse but I think it must be difficult to truly understand any business you are not directly involved.

My wife is a loan officer, so understands the business!

My spouse totally understands as he has been a very successful agent previously. He does tend to be my sounding board for all the things that go wrong. There is no judgement there just a listening ear.

My husband still holds a license but is not active listing or selling anymore. He understand completely the business and supports me 100%!

Yes, my spouse understands. I made him get a license and send him out on "assignments" from time to time. He has a whole other appreciation for what I know, do, and deal with each day now.

I think she does, and I share more of my dreams and ambitions than frustrations.

I'm lucky Paul. I work with my husband! He completely understands. He gets the good, the bad and the ugly!

after hearing about it for 18 years and now being licensed for 2 he gets it.  He does not work in the industry, but got licensed to be available to help me when needed.

I have been single almost my whole career, and my dates have always hated that I work too much, and don't want to hear about real estate. 

My significant other does get it, both the highs and the lows.

     My wife got her real estate license and worked with me for 2 years at Century 21.  She is no longer "active"...  but she is the greatest assistant in the world, because she understands the Business!

Yes she is licenced and has been licenced for just over ten years.  I seldom hvoice my frustrations.  Very little gets to me.

My boyfriend has a job that can call him away with almost no notice. He drives a pilot car. We both have to be understanding. I think he's a bit more understanding than I am, though. At least my job doesn't take me into the next state and beyond. 

She know enough to be dangerous

my entire family learned quickly what the real estate business is all about....and now my daughter is working in the profession.... she says it's in her DNA....and she's right.....

We both office from home (she is a professor) so she over hears my business and understands it. She appreciates the flexibility it offers.

Mine just got his licences.  He can now see how much work is behind the scene. 

No, I don't think so. I think you really need to be a Realtor to understand the bumps and hills we have to endure sometimes or the frusterations to get a home to close..

Not really.  Though, I try not to take out my frustrations on her.

It is nice to have a person who understands and is willing to listen to you. I'm still looking for such:)

She is learning a great deal about real estate by supporting me in my business.  She is also a great encourager when things are not going quite  as well as I would like.

My boyfriend hates my phone...  what he needs to realize is that I have the power over my phone...  I answer it if I can- it is not my clients making me answer the phone!

My husband understands real estate, though he is frustrated by its demands. I like that he will give me solutions to issues that come up.

I have to say, she thinks she understands it but I do not think she knows the pressure we are under sometimes, but does anyone.

My spouse probably understands more about real estate than the lower 1/3 of agents in the area. He's pretty good at providing non-RE insights to help me recalibrate when I am overwhelmed, too.

My spouse thinks I work for about $6 an hour sometimes, but he usually understands the business and he gives me ideas on marketing give aways and marketing ideas.

Yes, which is why she thinks I'm crazy.

Ailina was my executive assistant for 4 years, she knows it all too well, that's why she quit and spends 50% of her month far away from it working as an ITL on Virgin America planes .

Since she works the California Market for our company; we exchange the complaints.

Some days she seems to understand and the next HOLY MOLY!
