What happens to us as adults? As kids, we loose our minds with joy and anticipation of Christmas (or insert your holiday here)?

As adults we seem to only see the Season as expensive, having to visit THOSE relatives and it's generally overwhelming.

I do need to consciously take the controls and shut off the auto-pilot or I fear I get sucked in to the bad attitude too. Thanks for the nudge Roy Kelley this is a great reminder to have fun!

Nope I am good. I like giving presents and  hanging out  with my family,  I got me a new pair of shoes and a cute white blouse  taking a tray of home made canolis  to my brother and gonna sing some christmas hymns,,,,  gonna get some hugs from-the nieces and nephews and a few  atta girls from friends.... got my wife and my dogs right here, Im good

This Christmas is challenging to say the least.   It was always the happiest day for our family.  This year there is a weight I cannot seem to shake.  Trying to be more cheery but really not succeeding.   

I love the holidays, but I agree with Richard about the "diet adjustment"!

I practice having "an attitude of gratitude" all the time. This is a season when it is even easier to share that positive attiutde with friends and family. 

I spent some time shopping today, really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. So I guess I don't, just not ready for the holidays yet.

Roy Kelley if we have the attitude of gratitude everyday, we can perhaps 'up' that a bit during holiday season.

I am working hard on that attitude everyday, though dealing with our new mayor does make it difficult.

I have been so busy that I still don't have my tree up. Even that hasn't brought my Christmas spirit down.

Nope...my attitude is just fine after one closing this week and another one for next week, and the Christmas bonus my broker gave me.

My attitude is good no matter the time of the year.  It's either a good time to be around me, or a not good to be on my bad side.

If it takes the holidays to adjust a bad attitude then one needs to look at how they are living and what they are doing and take some steps to change. Life is too short and we have one chance to make it right.

I usually start out all hum buggy but that changes quickly as the spirit takes over.

No attitude adjustment here, just would like to sun and beach time!
