Sharing it on a listing presentation would be a meaningless statistic.

#1 in the State, and I do let my clients know I blog every day, but they do not care where I rank.

I'm #2 in my city, #2 in my county, and #3 in my state. I do not share in listing presentations.... don't think sellers will really give a hoo-ha about it.

I do that, but not with Active Rain which a website the homeowner has never heard of, know about, or care about. My perception is this will increase their anxiety as they anticipate more 'baffle with BS' attempts.
However, if they FOUND me via AR, that of course changes what I do and say.
They will not have found me via AR, but via FACEBOOK. Now I've got something to talk about that they DO understand.
If presenting AR as a secret weapons is working, reveals a advantage and benefit for the homeowner that they understand, clearly this would be a good value position to pursue.
The truth is, the portals to which the consumer receives real estate information is rapidly consolidating. The MLS, Franchises and brokerages are leaving agents few choices in this regard.

17th in New York; #1 in county and city.
No I would hope if they Google I show up anyway.
There are so many that brodcast they are #1 this and that and if you took away some of what they take credit for they might be just average!

I'm #1 in all 3. If I were an agent, no I would not share that as it's not meaningful to a seller, nor anyone outside of AR.
What I would do, though, is show them how I can get things to rank on google including their house.

26, 20, 19. I have never shared it on a listing presentation, I do not think it is something a seller would care about. Plus someone may be a really good agent and not be on AR, the points do not mean you are a great agent.

Jeesh .. truth is, I'll have to go look. It's been a while since I did. I do know that there aren't as many as you'd expect from the Chicagoland area here on AR, given the size of the City. Sad ...
And to answer the last question ... no, I don't market with it ... but I of course mention my blog ...

Michael,
Number 7 in city and county, 38 in state. I don’t bring it up. I keep the topics at a listing presentation to the crucial core items that need to be covered.

Not used in my marketing, but I have been at the top of my city and county since the first month, and never thought I would get past 4th place in the state but since one of the top runners has slowed significantly I may be in third place by the end of the year.

I am ranked #1 in my state but have never used that status in marketing. Consumers are not interested in these statistics.

#62 state #3 county #1 city and yes I do mention it on listing appointments.

my ranking is #1 with state, county and city..... I do have a brief paragraph about my participation on line via ActiveRain and my ranking of #3 in the country....it's worthy of a mention in a marketing plan when describing the variety of platforms used.....

I would advise against it. What if you ran into a seller who was internet savvy and they asked you how exactly do your buyers find you on the internet? What if they asked you for your traffic analysis reports to prove to them that you have the right keywords and traffic to back up what you are telling them?
99.5% of the realtors wouldn't have a clue! There goes your listing!

I am #1 in the state of New Hampshire and sure do use it as often as i get the chance.
