I look at shoes to see if they are shined, cleaned and well maintained. Sort of like I look at people's hands to see if their nails are clean and well-maintained. I was raised being told that you can always tell a real lady and gentleman by their hands and feet.

Do you wear those all the time? I hate anything between my toes! 

I tried on a pair of these.  I found them very uncomfortable.  I really don't pay much attention to others shoes.

How you do the little things is how you do the big things.

To be truthful it is someting I do not pay attention to; the eyes will tell more about a person. But I do check mine each day!

Probably to get a complete picture of the person. As for the "shoes" in the photo its something a kid would wear for attention. Can't see a full grown man wearing them.

Shoes are kind of an indicator of a persons personality. You can tell a lot about a woman by the shoes she wears and I think in a man today as well. I work on the beach, I am a beachy type person-you will not see me in a Hawaiian shirt but I wear all kinds of sandals for example. My impression of someone wearing the shoe in the photo would be of someone that seeks attention.

Good morning Michael. If I do, I'm not aware of it, but the majority of the time, would be focused on a persons face.

I don't look at shoes but I do look at handbags women carry. I think most women do that. I get nice comments about mine from other women all the time. If I see one I like, I ask her where she got it and that usually starts a conversation that can eventually lead to talking about real estate. I think the same goes for men. Some men check out other men's watches. Women check out bags and shoes. 

Tomorrow I'm going to pay attention and see if I look at other's shoes.  Don't think I do.  

I rarely look at someone's shoes unless it is a well dressed woman and I want to see her complete outfit.

I would only do this if the person smelled funny.

Are they shined?  Are they designer?  Are they fake designer? 

I tried on the toe shoes and they felt VERY comfortable, natural. When in Paris last April, I was really surprised to note that a great majority of the people (locals, students, tourists) wore sneakers. 

I have those shoes! Why? maybe they don't want to make eye contact? 

I'm a shoe guy.  I am always looking at other guy's shoes.  Shoes are fun!

I like those shoes, they are great for many instances. I do not look at shoes, I could care less. The way someone dresses does not tell you anything about their ability to buy or afford a property.

So I don't step on them???

I was always told ... by parents, in-laws, and former bosses, that shoes are a reflection of the person wearing them, TeamChi - Complete Home Inspections, Inc..   The condition and choice can reveal a lot.  As a result ... yep, you guessed it.  I still polish and shine ... old habits die hard ...

Cool shoes Michael, I never notice other peoples shoes and have not owned a pair of dress shoes in 30 years myself.  For me it is either work boots or sandals depending on what mode I am in that day.

If your client is a Rancher wear boots, surfer, deck shoes rehab-er work boots....  

I would be a bit apprehensive with those feet!
