Good morning Richard. I backup 24/7. I use Carbonite as my system.

I have a 2TB Transcend External and portable with military-grade shock resistance (sometimes things get dropped) and also back up with Google.  I also email all contracts and other important docs to myself.

Carbonite has saved my bacon several times!

Most of my calendar and contact information is backed up in iCloud.  And contracts are backed up in my broker's files and usually in Docusign.

All my documents are stored in the Cloud each day so a backup of my computer is not necessary. I have everything I need in case of a crash. I learned the hard way.

OMG, I am the most OCD backup person on the planet. Carbonite (continuously), 3 computers and 2 externals (as needed, and beginning and end of each file). AND hard copy file (same).  Redundant as hell. And it has saved clients, cooperating brokers and me on many occasions.

I use carbonite for automatic backups and also keep a portable hard drive updated daily.

I have an external hard drive.  It backs up every night on a scheduled system at 2:00 am.  I am usually asleep then.  The cloud could be a little volatile with sensitive data (IMHO).

All my buyer and seller paper work is kept in BackAgent.  My work files are kept in the cloud.

Yes, cloud for me since I use all Apple devices. But I do not backup everything there ( would take too much space).

Never thought of local back up once it took forever to copy the files on my 2TB external hard drive!

I don't use the cloud and I need to back up more frequently.

Cloud and automated backup so I don't have to think about it.

Back up locally, each Friday.

Michael Thacker - Louisville Realtor My iPad and iPhone is backed up in the cloud daily. My laptop and desktop are backed up on hard drives daily.

I have a MAC and have never backed up anything on this machine, but most of what I do is stored on line.

I use the cloud for my iphone.... my computer suffers..... I use memory sticks for information that's important to me.... my laptops are what I call disposable...and I dispose of them every couple of years.... all I do is blog on them...

We went "google" about 2 years ago.  We absolutely save "up to the cloud."  But, I'm a creature of habit, lol!  I STILL email every contract and addendum to myself so I have fast, easy access to them WHEREVER I am...

Cloud only and monthly... Oh, I also back up my music and family photos / videos on removable hard drive.

Michael Thacker - Louisville Realtor - I've been using Dropbox (web-based file hosting service) since 2012 and find it very useful, yet affordable. I'm not routine about how often I back up everything on my laptop, but religiously do it before I travel. If my laptop is lost or stolen I want to at least be able to get back in business by accessing my data with any Internet connection.

I use several external harddrives that connect through a usb cord.

But not nearly as often as I should.

I have nothing to backup on my laptop, but the desktop I back up once a month on a Passport external drive.

Mine is backed up on a CD as well as the cloud.
