Great photo. I think he lives a long time. Otherwise it would be double jeopardy LOL. Have a great thanksgiving

Sam, most likely this turkey will not stay in retirement for long.
Happy Thanksgiving!

That photo was taken so long ago I would say the turkey is long gone from this world.

I have no clue and don't fully understand the entire pardoning the turkey exercise... but I guess there's no harm from it, so why not do it.

Good morning Sam. This turkey has a mission, staying alive and not sure what else.
A wonderful Thanksgiving to you and yours.

I don't know. Perhaps the turkey was so thankful that it was about to bow down to the ex president? Or perhaps, Mr. Bush had some treats in his right hand?

Good Thursday morning Sam. I do not know the life expectancy of a turkey. Perhaps it's something I can Google! Happy Thanksgiving

That bird looks like he's getting very personal with the ex-president.

I feel happy for the turkey, but President Bush seems a bit surprised. LOL.

I'm not sure of the life expectancy of turkeys but since this one was pardoned at least eight years ago -- I'm sure he's gone.

They can live reasonably long. We had two in our backyard both were too old to be eaten..... I believe they stayed with us like 5 years.
I looked it up the one at store are about 1-2 years. The one which was interested in Mr Bush figure is about 2 years..... The one pardoned will out live the ones being eaten may be a few more years.

Sam Shueh Q1 - He was grateful to the President. Q2 - He will live in retirement until he dies.

I am not sure how long a turkey even lives. Maybe the turkey was hiding his head as he for-saw what would be come of Washington the last 7 years
