Doyle - What you do is fantastic.

We have not done it this season, but have in the past. Oftentimes we are not home, but that is no excuse.

I do the best I can all year. I give to food banks, animal shelters and Saint Judes Children's Hospital where 100% of donations go to help the kids and their families..

I always donate to my local foodbank...no matter what time of the year it is.

We collected food for hungry school children and are doing that through Christmas.

Yes, I am volunteering to collect non perishable food and cash for our Boards Feed the Need Food Drive; also collecting donations from local businesses for our annual auction for the Feed the Need Food Drive.

There's a lady with a dog I see out and about in town. She NEVER asks for anything. But I know she must love her dog a lot. I'm sure there is help she could get for her, if the dog wasn't with her. I see her caring for that dog. I would never leave mine either, if times got desperate. When I see her, I go get money for her. The first time she was apprehensive. Now she smiles at me. I tell her my puppy wants her puppy and her to be fine today. It's not tax deductible but the benefit to me far exceeds the writeoff. <3

Actually I make no effort regarding food during the HOLIDAYS.

I know there is an abundance of those who engage in seasonal giving  and in the Thanksgiving and Christmas meal projects during HOLIDAY seasons. 

My efforts are made during the big time span that exist from Jan to Nov.

I do support those fine citizens who volunteer to ring bells, every time I see them.

I am active in feeding and housing people in our community.

We donate for the silent auction, put on my our local MLS.  They support the food banks and the Salvation Army.

My office did a month or so ago when the big news media sponsored food drive kicked off.
