I have a nephew in the Air Force and he's stationed in Dubai. He works on secret stuff ... very proud of him. 

My son is in the Navy stationed at Virginia Beach. He and his wife will be coming home for Christmas.

There are 3 that are..I pray for safety for them and all of our hero's

Not this year, but next year will be the first year for my niece.

We have no one, but we still appreciate all those men and women who serve for our country.  We wish all of them well.  A

many of our fellow americans do, and since it is a volunteer service, we all owe a debt of gratitude to our brave ones who risk it all. Karen Fiddler, Broker/Owner  knows best

Not at this time. They have either already served or are now too old to serve.

Niece is on Wakiki Beach guarding the beach and work at nearby air base as Mash doctor Linwell. Her husband volunteered to be in South Pole. Saw his ski photos a lot .....

No I don't. The last military members I had in my family were my grandfather in WWII, and he was decorated. Then his son, my uncle, went into the marines during Vietnam. He never came back home.  Please take the time to read the story I wrote about my memories of him.

Thanks to ease of communication in last decade, we are much closer now. I remember paying hundreds of dollars just to call them during holiday season.

Thankfully no.  We do have several clients that we've sent goodie boxes to.  They really appreciate the thought and the treats.

I don't personally.... but I can imagine how difficult it is for those who do have someone serving who is far away.

Yes, my son will be home from Basic School. Fortunately not deployed and in training still. 

Yes my cousin in in the Army and stationed in Hawaii.  It's hard for him to come home for the holdays---too expensive a trip out to the midwest.  Wish that the military wold pay for a free flight.

Yes, fortunately she is in Kansas, and not in the Middle East.

No I don't but they are or should be in our thoughts not only during the holidays but year-round.  

Not this season, but my husband was mobilized during the Gulf War, while I was also in the Reserves (subject to being called up) and with an infant daughter in my arms. It's very difficult for military families not to be together at holiday time, especially if their loved ones are in harm's way somewhere.

No - but we thank those we meet for their service.

I don't, but some of my friends do.

thankfully my son is out of the Marines - but he served four years so I feel like I have given my part - my heart goes out to families with loved ones in the military now. On the other hand, I feel like we are all in the conflict. 

Ironically even though we have a huge military presence with Fort Knox being so close to Louisville, I don't have any in my family, or sphere in the military.

We have a nephew in the Marines and he is currently stationed overseas and away from his young family.
