The entire concept of shopping on Thanksgiving Day is abhorrent to me. I don't shop on Black Friday.... can't stand the crowds.

All our gifts are bought, wrapped and ready to hit FedEx.  No we don't do Black Friday.... It's crazy out there 

There is no way I would shop on Thanksgiving or the day after.

I don't shop on Thanksgiving day. The day after I'll look online to see if there are any deals on amazon and that's about it. I stay away from all stores on that day. It's not worth getting tackled over saving a few dollars.

I don't shop on either day.

I avoid the crowds. I am not willing to stand in line to fight for an item that will save me $20. 

No shopping for us. We refuse to get sucked into the artificial hype

I choose not to shop on either, I like to sleep the day after Thanksgiving, but they are making a statement which can only cost them money...people love to shop on Friday. My family has whole group who leave that night and love it, it's fun and it's the start to their holiday. If people don't want to work during the holidays, then don't work in retail. All silly to me

I try to avoid Black Friday shopping. It is a good time for reading a good novel at home.

I avoid going to town on both days and several days before and after.

Black Friday will be a work day for me -- maybe a movie later that afternoon/evening.   

I have always wondered why retailers would take their employees from a family Holiday to work on Thanksgiving.    I believe they should be closed.  I have never, nor will ever shop on Black Friday.

I will be working and have three appointments for Black Friday and thankfully will not be near any malls!

No shopping on Black Friday that is for sure! Not much shopping the rest of the year either.

Not on Thanksgiving and never on Black Friday, certainly not in the stores.

I avoid shopping on Black Friday like the plague.  I can't stand to fight the crowds and there is no sale worth the frenzy to me!

Sharon, out of respect for workers having time to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with their families, I make it a point to never shop on Thanksgiving or the day after Thanksgiving.

I go later in the day on BF.  I'm not desperate for deals, I just go for fun.

I work or just hang out with the kids. I never shop on Black Friday or any other Friday for that matter lol

it's too early to shop and I need to be in the shopping mood.... have too many other business related situations happening....and I'd never shop on the friday after thanksgiving....

Don't plan to shop on Thanksgiving. Will spend time with family.  A few years ago I stopped shopping on Black Friday.  It's a mess and I don't need anything THAT bad.

If I have my way, my home will be filled with grand kids on Friday morning

I don't shop on Thanksgiving unless it's an emergency missing ingrediant for the meal.  And on Friday, I'm usually showing houses.

Sharon, I fallow the tradition and do some shopping on Black Friday.

I live in a rural area. It's slow this time of year. I will spend time in the office, working at home and also shopping. 

I do not shop on Thanksgiving and Black Friday for me is online early and then when the crowds die down and sales remain, maybe a night time visit to teh mall or stores to avoid the mass of people. 

I hope to go shopping on black Friday.
